JeniLynn - you touched me with your style, professionalism, sense of humor, and being a wonderful, nurturing, and totally connected mom - and that's all just what I know of you from your content. I'm sure you're even more awesome in real life. I hate to see you leave, but I hope for you it turns out to be "bigger and better things" because you deserve that. Hugs girlfriend!!

JL first caught my attention when she used to co host Orlando Attractions.... The show with Banks Lee and I remember I was sad when she left that gig but then she popped up on the Dis and I was happy again!

I met Aussies on my last cruise and they are such amazing people we still email each other.

Again JL I know people say generic comments when people leave all the time it truly truly you will be missed...

going to missJLl , loved her shes a delight brought so much to the show, but I am also going to miss Steve Porter , when he first came on the show he was treated like Cinderella,(before the ball) but you could see as the weeks passed he gained more respect from his co workers every week, so the dis is taking some hit loosing these two, wish them both the best of luck. to me this is like the Yankees loosing Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig.

I told Jes that when I was in the Navy in Long Beach, CA many years ago and heard there was a ship full of Aussies coming in, I made SURE to go to the Enlisted Men's Club that night, 'cause I knew they'd be there. I loved their sense or humor and accents, and they knew how to have a great time....while still always being perfect gentlemen!!

I'm guessing Shaun did not leave due to his own choosing. The way his departure was announced is very similar to the way my company announces that someone was let go. I do think it was pretty odd the way her departure was announced- not much fanfare. Maybe it's just that they are upset she's leaving or maybe the kind words are coming yet from the rest of the gang...

I think something is off about this. She drops off the programming, then makes her announcement on her own channel. Makes me think that Pete cut ties with her. Slowly but surely with the end of the Trip, they have shrunk her exposure down to nothing. I think the last time she did a Daily Fix was over two weeks ago.

I'll cut and paste one of my fellow poster's earlier responses to another "dark and speculative post". He said it very well, and I think it bears repeating....

I'd suggest we refrain from speculating about anyone's departure or comparing how one was announced vs. another. That just takes the conversation to bad places.

I think JL announced her departure in a way that totally represents who she is and the class act she is and I wish her well. No need to speculate beyond that. She said she will keep her friends and fans informed so follow along on Facebook and Twitter if you want to see the next destination on her journey.

While I agree that we should refrain from speculating on this. JeniLynn left with class when she did the video. She also seemed to brighten up when she said she had an opportunity that she needed to take. I truly believe an opportunity was given to her that to her was something she couldn't pass up.

Hmmm, I'd like to meet these "perfect gentlemen" Aussies... They're all little rascals over here!!
But seriously, I think in general, were a bunch of happy go lucky, laid back peeps with funny accents.

Still too upset to comment on JL. Haven't watched her video yet, I have it on good authority that it's a tear jerker.
