JL leaving

I hope this doesn't sound way creepy but I actually had a dream about JL last night. I don't recall all the details but she was telling me about her new job. Of course, she was still being very cryptic about what it is but she hinted that it had something to do with puppets. I immediately thought about her experience with the Muppets and figured it might have started with that. She wouldn't confirm anything for me.

I'm not surprised about the dream because she and I had messaged on facebook yesterday so I guess that's why she was on my mind.

They finally mentioned JL on todays Universal Show. Craig mentions that its not their fault they can't speak out her but the job she took requiring her to be on the hush.

I had surmised she had started working for Disney and probably the Disney Parks Blog to a few close friends awhile ago, but always figured......"when it's time for us to know, we'll know" like she said when she left......that's cool with me. I've followed this in my life for a LONG time, and it's always served me well.

That said, I'm sure she isn't the least bit surprised that people would be curious about what she's up to. And if you follow her on social media, she's posted a number of somewhat cryptic messages since leaving the DIS that have kind of hinted at what she might possibly be doing without revealing anything at all specific.

Yesterday's posts were the most revealing. She posted a photo in which she is very clearly wearing a Disney ID badge (not a CM name tag). If I'm not mistaken, the color of the badge would indicate that she is working with Disney but not for Disney. In other words, she may be with a 3rd party contractor that Disney employees to do work for them.

She also said that it would probably be August before she's able to tell everyone what it is she's doing so we'll all just have to stay in suspense a while longer.

Yep I follow her social media accounts yesterday she was at Epcot very early in the morning and then today she was filming at some new hotel being constructed. It's obviously some sort of media related job. I'm just glad she's happy with what's she's doing.

Yep...I think Steve is correct about that badge and everything else. The suspense is kinda fun! Haha.

I feel ill over this. Not JL leaving, that is evolution, but this still being discussed.

Everyone on the show is a beloved celebrity to us. Much like watching TMZ this thread has become speculation and gossip. Can we accept that all members, current and past, deserve a private life?

I know in this age of facebook that everyone can be exposed based on what they post, but some respect for what people don't care to share with the world. Many jobs require a level of anonymity. If you want information send a friend request, if she feels like sharing she will and is she feels like making something up she will.

Sorry to rant, but I believe everyone deserves to have some privacy, despite my lurking in Pete's back yard during podcasts.

I've been in a Marvel mode lately. So when Craig started talking about what she was up too and they could not talk about what she was doing. I had a "Wait she's an Agent of SHIELD!" moment.

This is what I get for binge watching Agents of SHIELD on netflix. Whatever JL is doing I wish her nothing but the best.

Much like watching TMZ this thread has become speculation and gossip. Can we accept that all members, current and past, deserve a private life?

I know in this age of facebook that everyone can be exposed based on what they post, but some respect for what people don't care to share with the world.

I'm always the first to squash the conspiracy theorists, but I see nothing wrong or disrespectful with simple curiosity or even playful speculation.

JL absolutely is entitled to her privacy. Nobody here has said otherwise. I've said repeatedly that I'm sure she'll share when she's able to share. At the same time, however, she hasn't refrained from posting snippets of what she's up to - checking in at Disney University, posting a picture of herself wearing a Disney ID badge with a film crew in Epcot before park opening. When fans see stuff like that, it's only natural that they're going to talk and try to put the pieces together to figure out what it is she might be doing. As long as it's done out of love and respect rather than in a creepy stalker way or with any sense of being entitled to know details that she isn't ready or able to share, I don't really see a problem here. Hopefully JL doesn't either .
