I'm also ashamed (not really) of the amount of food we brought back home, let's just say I have antipasto and the warm chocolate cake with cream cheese icing for days :)
How did you transport the food you brought home with you? Ziploc bags or what?

ziploc bag for the mixed nuts, large plastic container for the cupcakes and cake and smaller container for the antipasto
Just a tip. don't bring the containers up to the food tables and fill directly. Grab what you want using the provided plates and then transfer the food to your containers on your table

Gotcha. I love antipasto, but my guys don't, so I don't get to eat it very often. Yum yum!

We have dessert party reservations for next Sunday, but still trying to decide whether or not to keep them. How far back from the stage does the reserved viewing area go? I guess what I want to know is if we don't do the dessert party, what is the closest we can get? I read that we need to be in between and in front of the two projection towers for the best view. Does the reserved area fill all of that space, or can we get in there without it? Can anyone point me to some pictures of the viewing areas with the camera facing the theater so I can see the separation and how far back it is? Everything I've seen is a side view, and I can't really get any perspective on how deep it goes.
We are in same situation. I can't decide at all.

We have a reservation for this on 11/30 . So torn. Originally was doing HS this day with 1pm beaches and cream and then downtown Disney Ragland road that night. Not sure!!

Doing mickeys Christmas party that week too. Trying to decide!

What time do you leave hs if you did this and are you hungry later that night or done?

Thanks!

After hearing about the party, I'm torn from going to Minnie's Holiday Dine at 5:10 or going to the party. Would we be early enough to stake out a spot after H&V on 12/14. The show starts at 6:45.

if you have a 5:10 reservation you won't get out until 6:10, that's if you are seated at 5:10pm. You will probably not find an ideal spot for the show

Thanks for your input. We'll keep the party unless we can get a 4:15 H&V that night.

For those who have attended, are there a lot of desserts at the dessert party? The pictures look like a lot of savory food. We had planned on grabbing an early dinner elsewhere & just going to this for the dessert.

Got a survey for the dessert party. Pretty basic questions, what did you like the most, the least, how was the show, value...

So the review I had read from the first night indicated they did not have the nitro station - either they missed it or it has been added?

Just got back from JBJB (no party, just show). My 15YO, who saw SWaGS in August, declared "that suuuuucked." I concur. Yes, some of the projections were cute, the snoap was cool, and the park looks awesome all lit up. But the "story" was ridiculously lame. Why in the world would they use that much Halloween footage? They should've just shown Christmas Jack clips too instead of trying to weave in a lame "kidnap Sandy Claws" story. My poor DS12 tried to act like he enjoyed it (after I sat for an hour and a half on the cold concrete saving him a prime spot because he missed SWaGS), but it was just really, really bad IMO.
