Jingle Bell Jingle BAM Show at DHS with Dessert Party Details POST 8

I was working all day but still managed to book the dessert party for 12/20. I can only reliably be out late on Tuesdays with my new work schedule, and all the Tuesdays between the start and then were booked except for one where I'll be out of town and one where I already had plans. Oh well.

I just had to say thank you again for all the great info on the dessert party!! I was so worried about being shut out. This thread helped so much. I'm so limited during the day with what I can do with any reservations for Disney and DH is so clueless with what to do and even he is somewhat limited on the spur of the moment.

I only wish I was going!! :rotfl:I would love to see this show! I am planning the trip for DS and his girlfriend (1st timer for a stay...only a day visitor) so I find it even more stressful because she hasn't seen much in the way of shows and has never gone at Christmas. We have gone at Christmas since 2012 since it's the only time the 4 of us have vacations that match due to college/professional school schedules. It's really making me long to go, but DD is taking her first round of boards over our winter break so we're home bound. It will be strange to be home and not being in DHS on Christmas Day this year. First year without seeing DS too...the Circle of Life.

A huge thank you for making their trip magical. :santa::santa:

I still haven't figured out how they will see Holiday Wishes (conflict with Castle dinner when they moved Wishes time) and if Rivers of Light is up and running they won't have enough nights to go back:upsidedow
I'm hoping they live stream something like they did this summer with this show. DD and I watched the 4th of July fireworks and then we planned out next trip over the 4th!!pixiedust:

Many thanks again!! So glad I don't have to refresh all day today!

Will it still be possible to see this without doing the Dessert Party? Looking at 18/12 with a family of four (2 of whom are under 21 so no alcohol) so it seems expensive! Also, will Fast Pass+ be offered soon?

No Fast Pass, but anyone in the park will be able to try and see it, they bigger issue is getting a good spot and how early to start lining up.

I am so confused what to do now . We are going to be there five nights and are doing the candlelight package and also the very Merry Christmas party .. Hollywood studios week that would be a short day and then maybe go to Disney springs at night on our last day .. but now if there's an opening I wonder if this is something we should do . Do you need to buy the ticket in advance and have it mailed to you like Christmas party at Magic Kingdom ? Or if I see an opening can I make a reservation and then cancel it if I don't like the reviews ?
We have a 10 and 12-year-old , and two adults . Ty!

Just to be clear, anyone at DHS can see the show; only the dessert party costs money and requires advance purchase/reservation. And yes, if you think you'd want to do the dessert party (pending the reviews), I would get a reservation now. Then you can cancel as late as one day prior to the party.

ETA: They don't mail you tickets; you get a confirmation number just like any other ADR.

Thank you so much , that helps!

The reservation was opened so I took it ! I may cancel but better to have it and cancel then not have it . The reservation that I canceled was for Raglan Road .. if we change our minds we could probably get back in there or somewhere downtown or Epcot .. doesn't matter , we will see , ty!!

I booked it for 12/16. Still not sure if we will keep it. Right now, the Jingle Jame is at 7:45 (dessert party starting at 6:30) and a single Fantasmic at 8pm. I'm hoping they will add a 10pm Fantasmic. Of course, we've seen F! a ton of times, so...I don't know. It is still one of my favorite shows though. Ideally, they will add the second show and it will all work out, but who knows?

perhaps someone can help me clear this up because I am super confused.
I booked the party for 11/22 ... the only time offered was 8 pm.
but when i look at the disney site's park hours for 11/22 ... it says the Jingle BAM show is at 6:45.

So are the hours just slow, and a later Jingle BAM show will be added?
or what do you think is happening?

thanks!

Also, does anyone know the amount of reservations they sell for this? Is it 100 or 300?

Anyone else notice that 11/16 no longer has a late JBJB showtime? Disney site changed that night to 6:45 so not possible to do both in the same night. I wonder if they will add a late Fantasmic as park is open until 9 that night.

Now you have me worried. I have an 8pm res on 11/18, but the MDE app now says JBJBDP is at 6:45.

I thought JBJB was always 6:45 on that Friday? For Wednesday 11/16, the show was supposed to be at 9:00 but now the site is different. There is no dessert party on the 16th.

DW site is showing 11/18 dessert party at 5:45 - not 8:00. So something is wrong. My guess is the site is wrong at the moment but you might want to call to be sure as I saw tickets are available for Friday night still.
