(yes, I've been saving that line all year...)

It's time for some Fantasy Football again!

It's our third season, and we've got a full league again this year. I had a number of "reserves" from last season, so I didn't actively recruit this year, but next year I'm thinking we'll expand to three conferences - it's time for a Hollywood Studios Conference I think!

This year's participants are:

Magic Kingdom Conference
doconeill
klam_chowder
lawsonsontour
Paging Tom Morrow
Twheezy
Alztybrn (2008 champion)
newtodis
ibleedblu (2009 champion!)
phoenixblue
nottingham (new for 2010)
ragtopday (new for 2010)
simmons_m (new for 2010)

EC Conference
DarkHelmet
The Grumpus
flyingcat2003
shaq_d
Spaceace5150
Mr. Plutes
Janitor Beans
Splat25
stitchlover
Schrute Farms (new for 2010)
mikeandkarla (new for 2010)
dpuck1998 (new for 2010)

Drafts are this weekend (Sat. 8pm for ECC, Sun. 4pm for MKC), and the season opens next Thursday!!!! Good luck to all involved...

Groucho's dad and dpuck## are playing?

Shoot I should have gotten in. :rotfl:

Best of luck to everyone this year. Maybe next year I have the time for the 3rd conf.

You newbs will be impressed with commish Brian. He does a commendable job week in and week out. :thumbsup2

Well the EC Conference made it through this evenings draft without very many tears. Good luck to the MK Conference tomorrow night.:thumbsup2

I  fantasy football : ) If you guys need a new player next year I am there.

I'll put you both on the reserve list.

I can't say there were any surprises. Reedy Creek Smoke Eaters got the first pick and too Chris Johnson (via phone, he was having trouble getting in but got in afterwards), with Magic Knights taking Adrian Peterson with the second pick. Everything pretty much fell in order, with lucky me with the 12th pick. At least I didn't have to agonize over "him or him" choices...the problem was I usually had three choices, and then the long wait as I watched everyone else get people I wanted. :)

There were only two autopickers, Wheezy's Warriors and Everest Yetis (ragtopday). I don't think the warriors fared too bad, but I think the Yetis are hurting. For some reason a QB never lead the autopick list when it was their pick and it only filled the slot in the last round with Kyle Orton. :headache:

last round with Kyle Orton. :headache:

Yikes! My husband was at the TCU game and came home to check and see how the "little woman" had done in her Fantasy Football draft and was kind of impressed. Don't know what he thought I was doing all last year. LOL! One of the reasons the man started dating me 22 years ago was my love of sports.

He didn't really call me the "little woman". :goodvibes

I wouldn't mind being on the reserve list for next year, if you decide to expand.

My specialty is really fantasy baseball, but I have been playing fantasy football for a couple of years and find it more enjoyable, since its not as time consuming.

addidas97 and cxcelica are on the list.

I don't want to make the list too long though, since we are a year away from next season, and I've learned a large percentage of people I have on the reserve list never respond the next year... :(

It looks like we'll add another 12-team conference next year.

Oh, I am a hurting pup after seeing the results of my draft! I had played around with the settings earlier in day, first thinking I would specify a position for each round, and then finally decided to let it choose "Best Available" for each one. Maybe I should count myself lucky I got a QB at all!

If I understand correctly, I can start trolling the waiver wire on Wednesday!

Yes, I believe the first waiver claims will get processed Wednesday morning, although you can make claims now.

And here I thought your team name (Everest Yetis) was going to be prophetic - big and scary but fairly static. :)

Thx a mint commish for setting this up again! :thumbsup2 I watched my picks go right before me too: Tom, Randy, Wes - even the kicker, Stephen!! :sad1: :rotfl: :rotfl:

cheers,
:flower3:

Hey Doc, I would love to play next year. Can you please put me on the list?

Thanks,
Bill
