Jimmy Fallon Ride: Queue only?

We'll be there in May (passholders) and Jimmy Fallon is high on the list. DH usually can't do motion simulators, including Star Tours which this ride is often compared to. I know he'd enjoy the queue. If we do the entertainment/queue, does he need to exit somewhere special? Or can he just "leave" when we get called to ride? He prefer to not make a fuss (aka, chicken exit) when not riding something.

Thanks in advance!

We rode this yesterday. There are doors on both sides of the auditorium and if you're one of the first people in line, you can see the previous group exiting as you enter. It should be easy to walk straight through and exit; I can't imagine that the staff would try to prevent anyone from leaving.

You can go right back down the stairs and exit that way. Then your husband does not have to sit through the pre ride rap safety instructions.

I'm sure they would not object to him just start walking down the stairs to the first floor and eventually back out the front door.

If anyone stops him, or questions him, he can simply explain that he just wanted to enjoy the queue area with the family. If anything, when you get to the part where they give you a color card before going to the next floor, he can explain himself then and simply state he plans on enjoying the queue and coming back down once you all go on the ride that way it's not a surprise, or he's questioned on the way out.

My DW just did this today. You do not have to go back. Right before you are called to enter the line before the ride just ask a TM and they will direct you thru a door that leads by child swap and ride exit stairs. Then just wait in store.

I personally think that asking the TM where the sit is is *less* making a fuss than trying to figure it out in my own. :)

There's a hallway between the two theaters right before you enter the "safety rap" area, just walk through that, turn left and go down the stairs/elevator. That takes you to the store. Let the ride attendant know.
