I actually saw Jimi Hendrix in concert when I was 12. Believe it or not, he was opening up for ......The Monkees! He got booed and fruit thrown on him since no one knew who he was, but we thought he was cool. They canned him as opening act after 7 shows.

Not sure if anyone here has satellite radio- but on SIRIUS channel 16- THE VAULT- the classic rock they play on there is crazy! Most of the songs are songs they never played way back when on the radio- they are all the good ones that make you appreciate the artists for their talent!
