i am a new collector of Jim Shore Disney figures and am curious to know if anyone has spotted these for sale at WDW. I only own 5 so far and am eager to add to my collection, especially if there are WDW exclusives.

Thanks! Here are some of the ones I received for Christmas from my parents, dh, kids and brother's family.

Yes, I've seen them in the Christmas shops - I think for sure the one at MGM down near the Beauty and The Beast show, and maybe others as well.

I like his style - it's different from my usual Christmas taste, but I have a nativity I like very much.

There are quite a few at WDW for sale! You can find many at the WoD store in DTD, as well as the AoD gallery at WoD. I know they are also available at select shops inside the theme parks. On occasion, Mr. Shore does do signings at Disney, and is very, very popular.

I got the Tinkerbell (LOVE her...) at the collectible shop on Main Street in MK... the one that is on the right about halfway up. Sorry I can't be more specific, but you can't miss it!

She's my first Jim Shore!

That's funny you mentioned this. My Co-worker just showed me a Mickey and Minnie figurine of his today that she bought over the weekend. I have never seen or heard of them before and now for the 2nd time today, someone has mentioned them.

Thanks so much for the super fast replies! :) I will be looking for some park exclusives to pick up on our trip. I love the Disney collection and am placing it in a curio in the dining room.

I adore Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. My dad who isn't a really sentimental guy bought the Dwarves for me this Christmas. It moved me to tears. He paid too much for it(more than original list), but he had such joy on his face when I opened it. My husband and kids laughed when I cried, but I guess you really have to know my Vietnam vet, tough guy dad to know how special this really was for him to do.

The Art of Disney store at Epcot has some, but the largest selection I saw was definitely the collectible store on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom.

I think the only Jim Shore theme park exculsive is a Cinderella Castle one. Here is a link to it: http://www.register123.com/event/profile/web/index.cfm?PKwebID=0x75659b3e4&varPage=location

I think I got it at the Art of Disney on Main Street. I've seen the rest of the Disney Traditions for sale at other places in Disney as well is in different Hallmark stores. I would shop around for prices for them. I've found some decent prices online for them. Also, Disneyshopping is now selling them. If they have a special running you can get good prices for them. I wouldn't buy any at Disney, besides the exculsives, because they sell for retail.

Just thought I'd let you know that Avon sells a few of these...Pooh, Mickey, and Tinkerbelle, I think....:)

We have 3! Grumpy and Jiminy came from WOD at DTD, which is cool because we had the AAA discount card. My Minnie Mouse was a Christmas gift and came from a local Hallmark dealer. WOD was cheaper than Hallmark.

I bought a Mickey Santa (because I collect Santas) at the DTD Christmas store in December and i think it's a Jim Shore.

I saw quite a few pieces at the American shop in World Showcase/Epcot. That was in 2006 though and I scoured the all the pictures from that shop that the Dis Pod Cast put up but couldn't see that they carried them anymore. Although, I'm sure they are all over WDW so, happy shopping :goodvibes ! I love that 7 Dwarves one, beautiful!

I'am also a collector of these, I have about 15 of them! Once my family see's I like something they all go nuts and buy them for me for every occasion. I did ask them to stop now as I've run out of room for them all and had to pack the Christmas ones away! I did buy a small one, Lucky the Dalmation at the Studios. They have a gallery there , Art of animation I believe... I believe the exclusives are Cinderella's coach and I think a castle as well. My stepdad bought me the dwarves too, a little more than he shouldve spent but he was so overjoyed to give it to me! they really are quite beautiful. My sister in law picked up the one with Huey, Duey and Louie and the snowman and I havent seen that one anywhere in over a year so you can also get the harder to find ones at Disney! Good luck! I love the Precious moments exclusive to Disney too!

My husband and kids started the collection for me for my birthday last summer. The ones that focus on "America" are the ones I have. Such as Crossing the Delaware, Mickey with the Statue of Liberty and the one with Uncle Sam, Mickey Liberty March, and I have one that isn't on the website - it is Mickey portaying Paul Revere's ride. This are great!

My husband also starting the Precious Moment's collection. (I'll have to remind him HE started these collections NOT me!) We have a son and a daughter - so he bought me the one with the the brother and sister on the theme park bench eating a Mickey bar and holding a Mickey balloon. Since then I have gotten the one with Cinderella's castle, the wedding one, and when my daughter went with her hs orchestra she bought me the one with the girl whose arm is extended out and Tinkerbell is sitting on her hand.

I love having these because they have been bought with meaning behind them - and it will be fun to pass them down to my kids when I get older.

I know they sell the Jim Shore pieces at all of the Art of Disney stores... I have shopped in DTD, Epcot, MK, and AK (this is where I bought my mom the dwarfs and she also got a set of Jim Shore Christmast ornaments of the dwarfs - they are her favorite). I feel like they must also have a store at DHS - anyone know? You can also find some of them at the Christmas stores in the various parks - especially MK.

I would love to get him to sign a piece for my mom some day! :flower3:

I have seen them at WoD as well - they are so beautiful! :cutie:

I haven't got any (yet) but am sure I will start collecting them soon. :)

I just discovered these, too. Found a Mickey/Minnie one with a snowman for 50% off at a local gift shop after Christmas. I wish I would have gotten the Pooh one they had, too. I bought Lucky the Dalmatian and Jiminy Cricket at the art store in Animal Kingdom. I didn't even know the store was there until then, but they had a lot of pieces to choose from.

Thanks everyone! I do have the Jiminey Cricket one as well as a Hallmark Christmas one with Minnie kidding Mickey. It's adorable. :) I am going to check out the castle since it's WDW exclusive. I am hoping I can get it. It will be our 15th anniversary, so maybe I can get dh to buy it for me. :)
