Jim Brickman Disney CD

I don't know if this is the correct place to post this, but I didn't know where else to go.

I don't know if ya'll are familiar with Jim Brickman. He is a solo pianist and is WONDERFUL! He's had some top 40 hits, such as "Valentine" with vocals by Martina McBride. But most of his music is piano. I love, love, LOVE his music!! Anyway, I just learned today that his newest CD was released yesterday and is titled, "The Disney Songbook." He's recorded many classics, and has composed a new song, "Beautiful", inspired by Cinderella, with vocals by Wayne Brady. I saw that he will also have a special on PBS this fall, that was recorded in the Magic Kingdom -- no date or time yet.

Lastly, he's also doing a couple of tours. One is a bookstore tour (complete with piano) to promote the new CD. The other is a holiday tour, which will include his classics, holiday music, and selections from his new Disney CD. He's coming to my town on Dec 21st & I just got tickets! I am sooooo excited!!

Just wanted to share a little something different that still has a Disney touch, just in case you're interested.

That's interesting to know. I play a lot of his music in the background of my
3 year-old class. There is a sense of calmness while his CDs are playing.

OMG! I love Jim Brickman, he actually recorded a song for my sister's wedding. (She worked at the radio station that helped launch his career YEARS ago.) He recorded it in his living room and added a personal message at the end. Anyway, I'm running to Best Buy first thing in the morning for this one! A BIG thank you to the OP!!!

I LOVE Jim Brickman...we saw him in concert once around the holidays and it was wonderful. Thanks for the reminder about the cd..I'll definitely have to go buy it!

My DW has the CD already (by pre-order...an autographed copy and all!!!!! ). She has listened to Jim Brickman's music for quite some time and swears by it for nap time for our children! We will be seeing Jim Brickman in concert on the 22nd...We saw him 2 years ago and had a wonderful time! Can't wait for the PBS Disney special, too!

What an AWESOME CD!! Thanks for the link! That new song "Beautiful" is wonderful. I am going to run out this morning and get this one. My DH is a DJ and he and I have liked Jim Brickman for a while, but I must have this one. He is also going to be in MI Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 so we may have to attend one of his concerts.
