Jill, I rang Cresta today about DLP holidays (they are fully booked for Christmas:(). I asked about summer 2007 prices while I was there. Apparently although the brochure is not yet out, their system currently has prices up to March 2007. The prices are being added week by week (in unknown quantities!). So, there is a possibility that they may have summer prices on the system before the end of October when the scheme ends. He has told me to ring every few weeks for an update.

He also reminded me that they need the clubcard vouchers converted into Cresta Deals Tokens and these must be recieved by them 3 days after booking the holiday. So I think you may need to order them at the beginning of October from Tesco to be sure you have them before the cut-off date.

I never realised Christmas week itself would be so popular, sorry it didn't work out for you. :sad2:
Is it just the direct Eurostar that's fully booked ?

On the plus side though there's a chance of a holiday early next year.

Ideally I would've liked the trip to have been after the new attractions open but I believe that's not until June. I'm assuming the 15th year celebrations will start at the beginning of April which fits in nicely with the Easter school hols.

Thanks for the information Quack, I shall keep my fingers crossed. :goodvibes

I don't think the airmiles thing is very good, if I'm doing my sums right it doesn't seem like much of a deal at all, in fact from what I can see the amount you save with airmiles is equivalent to the original value of the Tesco vouchers, not x4 :confused3

From what I can also figure (which isn't much) the airmiles are not good value compared to the brochure.

Christmas is fully booked up for DLH and HNY. All he could offer me was a room in NPB - but then he couldn't find a return slot on the Eurostar!! I think people must book waaaay in advance. I think you will be in luck for June. He seemed to think that the June prices may be on the system in the next month or so. There is hope for us yet!!!

Fingers and toes crossed then :goodvibes

I'm still amazed that people book that far ahead. Good news for the resort if not for you.

Would it be worth considering booking just the room/tickets with Cresta and then the Eurostar yourself or does this not work out so cost-effective - sorry, I do not know very much about the Tesco scheme.

You have to book the whole deal with Cresta, part of the small print.

and Leger unfortunately has to be via coach travel, so that's not much help either. :sad2:
