In reality it's stupid, but it was cute in context of the show. It set her apart from the others right from the start. Didn't she do it the very first night?

I am not watching this time round.
I think Gillian was soft spoken, quiet and respectful during last season and already in the promo's they are trying to make her "more interesting" ....into something I think she likely isn't....so, why watch her burn, its sad!
Just my take.....so I'll skip it....

I have never missed a Bachelor/Bachelorette episode, but I SWORE I would never watch again after the Jason ordeal.

I really liked the Pilot and Kipling and Matheu. It looks like a llot of drama this season. I wonder who has the girlfriend??

I can't believe the guys were calling her "Hot Tub Harris" that was tacky.

I imagine they have 30 guys totry to bring more drama...cause after Jason's drama, it's hard to 'top' it and after all abc wants the ratings!

Looks like there is going to be a lot of drama this year. They said 3 guys already have girl friends, one guy was there to be the next Bachelor and they figure Wes , the country singer is there to further his career...as if some of the others don't want TV time too.

I thought the guys were more cattier then the girls. Thought it was a hoot when they were all saying don't touch my rose ( the first impression one ).

I wanted more Canadian Guys too....since I am Canadian. But someone said most of these were picked for Melissa....

I don't think they told us... just promo junk.

I really like Jillian. She was our favorite last season, seemed really down to earth and fun. I hope it's a good season, not as someone said... "the cute dumpie becomes the creepy picker" (I should have quoted that... very succinctly put!)

I watched last night, even though I didnt think Jillian would be all that interesting.I mean she is beautiful and was very nice last sesaon...

My take on last night..

It seemed "Scripted" at the beginning with all the guys

I think many of the guys look similiar


The guys truley aren't as interesting as when you have a room for of women..At least with a room full of women there is a lot of cattiness that goes on, makes for fun tv...seems the guys are looking for a conquest.

With all that said, I will continue to watch

Your last statement about the guys being picked for Melissa is so ironic! When I was watching the intros last night, I said to my DH, "I think these guys were picked for Melissa, because so many are YOUNG (like 25) and from Texas!" I figured they knew for quite a while that Melissa wasn't ending up with Jason, and I heard that most of the guys had been chosen before Jillian was announced. Too funny!

I liked Kipton, Juan and Jake, too. Though I wonder a little about Jake, he seemed just a teeny bit over the top about Jillian, I hope he doesn't turn out to be the stalker-Shannon (was that her name?) type.

So glad she didn't give a rose to Kyle in the Member's Only jacket! He really bugged me!

I enjoyed watching last night. The only thing that bothers me is that it IS so scripted. How in the world could you ever remember 30 names in that short amount of time? I mean, I am good with names, but 30 at once? She is cute and lively though. I liked Kiplen from the opening sequence (especially when he arose from the waves in the ocean.....hoo ha!) He was my first pick for the first impression rose too........pilot is my second.
