Jillian the Bachlorette

I am confused about the scenes from next week....are we to assume she attempts to have sex with one of them? :scared1: I know that there has always been these all night dates but I didn't think the show lead you to believe there was sex going on!! I'm no prude but does anyone else find this tacky?? I don't even want to finish watching now that Ed's gone...he was my fave :sad1: I guess Reid or Jesse would be my next choices. That grin on Jake's face is starting to get on my nerves!

I was totally shocked about the discussion next week about the guy's problem. Also, I was so embarrassed for the guy who had that problem to have his "failure" aired on national TV. But mostly I was just shocked at the whole sex thing and I was wondering if I was a prude or that "Boy, have morals changed since I was dating!"
Does anyone else wonder if the whole thing with Ed going back to his job was set up beforehand? I mean, I can't believe that they'd let his boss get so much negative air time for coercing Ed to go back to work. I'm finally wondering (OK, I'm a slow learner) how much of this show is natural falling in love and how much is staged. But it's like a train wreck, I HAVE to watch!

I wonder about the staging thing too- I was wondering last night if there would be last minute drama toward the end (like that one that didn't pick Jason coming back on the Bachelor) and maybe Ed would come back into the picture and throw a wrench into it at the end. I'd take that wrench upside the head anyday!!! :rotfl2:

I bet the guy's "problem" is not what we are thinking. The Bachelor has a way of twisting the previews into something far more interesting than they actually are. I'm betting the guy was not able to get romantic with Jillian, maybe their make out session did not go as planned or something. They have never actually shown what goes on inside the suites and it sure would make Jillian seem very easy.:confused3

I think you have a good point. I wonder if that guy gets sick and throw up

That is a rumor going around that he does come back that is why he kept the rose. People think that he might have had a GF at home he need to take care of:confused3:confused3 who knows though what happend

I am going to be the lone dissenter (well my house will) we didn't like Ed...there was just something superficial about him.

Still haven't really gotten to know most of the guys names (except Wes the leach and Tanner, foot dude)

This is exactly what I was thinking. ::yes::

Hi!

You all pretty much covered it already! :) I really hope that the preview of Wes was something sarcastic, taken out of context!! If not, then he's not only a publicity harlot, but more stupid than dirt!! Who is going to buy his albums if he's such a blatant, confessed, game-playing ****?..... Oh yeah, the same people who marry incarcerated murderers!:sad2:

Well, I can usually call it by now but, like the rest of you, the fireworks are missing here; if not the drama!
It would be kind of a trip if Ed came back and they ended up together. I told DH, we should bet on Ed's return!

OK, here is my, still not asked for, update on who's left! ;)
+ = upgrade from last week
- = downgrade from last week
/ = opinion hasn't changed

~ Jake/ (31, Pilot, TX): Still up there but not seeing much of him.

~ Jesse/ (27, Wine maker, CA): Still looking like he has potential!

~ Kiptyn/ (31, Business Developer, CA): Still seems pretty cool. I'm getting the impression he's nor being himself though. Camera shy?

~ Michael:/ (25, Break Dancer, NY): He's OK but so not a fit for her. Too young.

~ Reid/ (30, Realtor, PA): Still love him! If I were picking...he's my "type"!

~ Robby- (25, Bartender, TX); Down this week. I don't know. I run hot and cold on him.

~ Tanner P.- (30, Financial Analyst, TX): He isn't annoying me anymore but I think is firmly in the friend zone!

~ Wes- (32, Musician,TN): Skeevy publicity harlot who is a bit hot and can actually sing! Go back to TN! Still, NOTHING has changed here! He must go away!

This week, I should be painting the future kids room. But, here I am!:rolleyes1 ;)

I guess I haven't been watching closely enough and focusing to really have a good take on each of the guys.

I DO think that a lot of this show is scripted. No doubt about it.

Anyhow, I agree that I am not a huge Jill fan. She must be like so many other girls that really don't know what they want, or should want. But, she is supposed to be a mature intelligent woman. :confused3

Look at some of the men who are still around. :scared:

I was never crazy about Ed.
But, the way that all the sudden Jillian turned on the tears, it was like a little kid who boohoo's and turns on the fake drama just as a tool, to see if they can get others to give them what they want. I was like 'good grief...'.

Like I said, I guess I haven't been watching closely enough to have a good 'take'. But, I was really blown away by the date with Jesse. WOW!!!! He seemed mature, intelligent, a bit adventurous, etc... He actually appreciated how incredibly awesome their date was on that glacier. And, he seemed to appreciate the good things in Jillian. WOW!!! I like a man who can see and appreciate these kinds of things. These great things that I saw in Jesse are things that really can't be faked.

But, sadly, I think that he was also questioning any true connection on Jill's part. (smart man.....)

I posted a few weeks ago, and I said that I see that Jillian has so many huge walls up when it really comes to a real romantic love, that she must actually be running from it.

We all know about her 'best friend' comments... She is just focusing on somebody that she can count on forever. That, and that alone. This was also very obvious in her dire need to know whether these men had been 'dumpers' or 'dumpees'. She plays like somebody who has it all together. But, I have to say I think she has some real issues when it comes to this :sad2:

Wishing on a star, ITA with pretty much everything you have said.

The show and Jillian seem so scripted. I had higher hopes for her and I find that she is coming across as somebody who doesn't know herself let alone what she wants in a partner.

I think Tanner P. should be the new Bachelor...LOL can you imagine him with 39 pairs of feet? I have to say he has grown on me and seems like a decent guy.

Whoever said that Wes is wormy nailed it. Something about him is just not right. I don't trust him for a minute.

Ed - I was disappointed to see him go.
Michael - very immature, may be fun to party with but not husband material
Jake - still liking him but he hasn't had much time with her since their one on one date. And what's up with her that she keeps saying that he's too perfect??? :confused3
Reid - I'm undecided on him still.
Kiptyn - they seem to have chemistry.
Tanner - the whole foot thing just creeps me out!
Jesse - wow! He really impressed me on this last date.
Robby - seems nice enough, not sure if they really have a connection though.

I really want her to dump Wes. She should have kept Juan and dumped Wes long ago.

:rotfl2:

Could you see how funny that would be!! And I like him alot more now too.
Ladies, forget your low cut formal gowns, get your pedicures! :rotfl:

There wouldn't be any hot tub scenes...it would be all foot spa....LOL!

All the dates would have to be barefoot on the beach...no winter spots for him!

Exactly.

What 39 pairs of feet are we talking? Are you including Chris Harrison's and the crew? :scared1: :scared:
