Jilian & BT's VR 3/24/12 Crescent Terr/Il Mulino - Last of the Randy Chapman pics up!

I love the table numbers and the frame!

The place-card holders are too cute!

I hope the peonies come in cheap.. I wanted them so bad but couldn't afford them. Crossing my fingers for you!

Can't wait to see your Mickey head fans!! I love the banner from Etsy too! So cute!

Joanne, I think we're still going with petals by design. We started with a quote from them so I assume Karen stuck with them. Thanks again for the suggestion!

H said to go ahead with the floral so I asked Karen to book it :) This makes things so much easier, now I just have to sit back and wait for it to get delivered rather than lugging urns to Orlando and setting them up myself.

Today I'm babysitting my niece who is only 3 weeks younger than my daughter. So two 2 year olds! I don't know how people with twins do it! It gets tricky. I took them shopping and just getting them both out of their car seats and across the parking lot and into a cart was an adventure! My hat goes off to all of the twin moms out there - - you ladies are warriors!

In more VR news the AP room rates came out yesterday. I debated switching out of free dining to get the discount since we don't technically need the tickets we're forced to buy to get free dining. It would have saved us about $300 but we opted not to switch. I just love the dining plan so much, it lets us eat at the really expensive restaurants inside the park and that is so convenient with 3 kids. It is our little splurge for our trip. I've also booked tea at the GF and got myself a big floppy hat. I'm giddy with excitement over this! I can't believe that in just 2.5 months we'll be there! I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas again :)

Sweetie - I was absolutely thrilled with my floral from 'Petals by Design'!!! I hope you will be too!!!
I agree about the DP. We did it for the first time when we made the VR trip and it was great. I would certainly do it again!!!

Love the table numbers, place cards and floral! Your bottom picture of the bouquet is what I'm using for my BM's, through Disney floral I'm paying $145 each for them! :goodvibes Can't wait to see pictures of how yours turn out, so pretty!

The framed picture from M&M will give a fun added touch!

Joanne, I remember you raving about your floral so I'm really happy to get to use the same florist!

Tric, that isn't a bad price at all. My florist said that the actual bouquet in the picture was $385! Mine won't have everything pictures but it will be $125. Will your bouquet be the same just bigger?

I have to say that I love the Timeshare store. I inquired about DVC resales a while back and they added me to their mailing list. Well, every so often they sell DVC points for $8/point and I noticed they had some available today so I emailed about availability this morning for the night I'll be taking DS for his birthday. We're gonna be staying @ Animal Kingdom now! $120/night for a studio! That is less than the POFQ room we had booked. He's gonna be so, so excited. I've really wanted to start trying to stay at the DVC resorts too because I hope that within the next few years we'll be able to buy at least a small contract. This will be our first DVC stay :) Now I'm gonna watch and see if any discounted points come out for March so we can book a few days in DVC for after our vow renewal.

We are getting the same bouquet minus the lilly of the valley (the little white bell looking buds shooting out)- ours will have light pink peonies, white hydrangea, white lisianthus/buds, white anemones, and pink ranunculus. I thought it was awesome when I saw it here since I literally brought the exact same picture to my PS! :) Mine is going to be different- I have white peonies, white hydrangea and white ranunculus. Mine is 325 :scared1:

How awesome you are going to stay at AKV! I hope you like it, I'm sure your son will love the animals!! What a special birthday surprise! That's awesome you can rent points for less than a moderate! :goodvibes

Your bouquet is going to smell so good with peonies and hydrangeas, I can't wait to see pictures!

Yeah my DS is gonna flip when he sees that we're staying @ AK. We've both always wanted to stay there.

I have been following your PJ for a little bit now, and all of your ideas are so cute! I especially LOVE the table numbers, and place cards. For the table numbers.... where did you get a template for the little Mickey head??? And for the place cards.... SOOOOOO pretty.... where did you find the scroll lines that you put in there? Do you have a template for that?

LOVEEEEEE your ideas!!!:thumbsup2

Thanks! The Mickey heads were just from a JPEG. I just typed out the table numbers in word then inserted the pictures and shrunk them down really tiny. I still have a pink, a blue and a black Mickey head saved on my computer. If you message me your email I can send it to you.

The scroll lines are from a font I downloaded called nymphette. I got it here: http://www.dafont.com/nymphette.font It was really fun to work with and they have some pretty scrolls. It was free too!

I made a few small banners to decorate our resort room window with (it says "Happily Ever After"):

My Mickey and Minnie bows also came in today so I'm going to finish up the Mickey head fans tonight and get pictures up. I'll be so happy to have them done! Then it is on to welcome bags. We're keeping it simple and just doing bottled water, the I'm celebrating pins, hand sanitizers, a welcome letter with info, the hidden Mickey guide and some snacks. Any suggestions for snacks? I'm thinking granola bars, small packs of cookies, chips and maybe some sort of candy like M&Ms. Does that sound good? Anything else I should include?

I'm also happy to say that almost everyone has booked at the CBR with us. Even H's mom who was planning on staying off property in her timeshare. I guess it wasn't available. It is going to be so much fun to have all of our friends and family members nearby!

You are so crafty! The fans look awesome!!

I love the welcome bag ideas too. The snacks sound great, my only concern with m&ms would be melting. Not sure how you are transporting them so it might not be an issue. If so, you could add in maybe dried fruits, beef jerky, gum?

Nice work so far, I'm loving watching your planning!

how did you cut your mickey heads out I am going to make them too but I am not sure how.

Good point on the M&Ms. We'll be there in March but it can still get a bit warm and that would stink to have a melted mess of chocolate. I'm laughing because you suggested beef jerky, I gotta tell my H. He suggested beef jerky to begin with (because he loves it) and I picked on him for it saying that not everyone likes beef jerky and I wanted to go with things that most people like. So now he's reallllly going to petition for the beef jerky...lol

With scissors. I think I have carpal tunnel now because of it. Those suckers took forever. I made 37 fans so I cut out 74 mickey heads. I think the black outline hid my imperfections a bit. If you have a friend with a Cricut it is totally worth asking him/her to cut them for you!

All your DIY projects look great. Can't wait to see it all pulled together in a couple of months.

Some other things to add would be individual packets of headache medicine, tissue packets, and maybe non-melty candy like skittles or something. I also put in some individual packets of wipes and then some toys/coloring books if the family had kids

Jilian sweetie - The fans and the banner look wonderful!!! Oh the cleverness of you!!!

Jilian- you are a DIY machine! I love the signs and the fans-- everything looks great!
