Jiko's & Vodka

DH have decided this is our favorite Disney restaurant. The food and service is not only delicious but the wine collection is remarkable!!!!

Earlier this month it was one of the (very) few times I just wasn't in the mood for wine so the CM asked what else I drink and I said vodka...... I do favor Grey Goose & Stoli but she wanted me to try something different, well okay!

Hangar Vodka from California, I had never had it or heard of it but is was wonderful. Smoothy, silky, just great.
I had it served on the rocks with a slice of fresh orange.

It a favorite in our household as well. The orange flavored one is terrific and with the slice of orange- just like being in florida!

For accuracy sake, I believe the brand's full name Hangar One, and I agree...it's gooood!

I enjoy Hangar One and have a bottle in my liquor cabinet. But, in all the vodkas I've tried (and there have been many), nothing beats Ketel One IMHO.

That's funny...I had my first Hangar One at Jiko, also, about 3 years ago! It was just the "regular" flavor. I was mentioning that I liked vodka and the bartender suggested it. I started seeking it out to have at home, but decided to stick to Ketel One at home and make Hangar One my "official WDW vodka."

I know this name will make you giggle, but google "Tito's" vodka from texas. It is highly rated and excellent.

I have to agree with Wildernesslodgelover ... Tito's is great vodka. Another one that we really like at our house is Cirroc - it's actually distilled from French grapes instead of grain... I think it's distilled 8 times before it's bottled but I could be mistaken. Anyhoo, it's quite tasty and very smooth and it makes for some great martinis.

Ciroc is very good. It's tied with Hangar One on my "vodka list". I love a Ciroc martini with a blue-cheese stuffed olive.
