My family (16 people with a range from 1 to 77 years old) is going in November and we all can not make up our mind on which to choose Jiko's or Boma's.

Thanks for any advice.

Boma's!!!!!!!!!!!

Food is great and there is no menu to order from.....people can eat whatever they like..and as much as they like.....

Check out the menus Here and see what you think...

And Boma's will cost less in the end...

I agree. Boma is my favorite restaurant at WDW (at least of all the ones I've tried). The food is fantastic and there is something for everyone. Plus with that large of a group, I would think it would be much easier to eat at a buffet. I've never been to Jiko and have heard great things, but I'd do Boma.

Boma, for a group that diverse in age, I'd choose something with a little bit more of a "normal" menu. But then we didn't care for Jiko. I was sick the whole night after eating there. Could be a fluke, but for that diverse of a crowd, I think a buffet is a much better choice.

I recently went in August and all I could say is I CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK. The food was awesome.

As much as I LOVE Jiko...I think for a party that size, with such diverse ages, a buffet would be best.

Enjoy!

My sentiments exactly. Jiko is our favorite restaurant at WDW and I have been there with a group of 12. However, it was a bit hectic and with a group of 16, I would go for Boma. However, you can't really go wrong with either one.

Although we have yet to try Boma's (that may be remedied next month) I've heard nothing but great things about it. I think with a group that size and vast age range it would be your best bet. We love Jiko but you wouldn't get the vast variety available there as you would at Boma's.

We discovered JIKO our last trip and all's I can say is..what took us so long!! I loved it and will go back our next trip. My dd loved it too!! (she was 5 at the time)

I'm sure they can accomodate large parties and I just guess it depends on whether everyone wants to do a buffet or a sit down.
