Jiko's dress code

I made reservations for Jiko's and they told me they had a dress code. I listened to what she said we could not wear but just wanted to know if nice shorts and polo shirts was acceptable. I heard no bathing suits, torn shorts and miss the rest. We dress pretty casual on vacation and my husband will just about die if he has to put those slacks on during vacation. If he has jeans on in Fla it must be 50 degrees. Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.

We were there quite a while ago, but my husband and I wore nice khaki shorts and I think he had a polo type shirt and I had just a nice shirt on. We had no problems. Hope that helps.

Dress code is no bathing suits, tank tops or torn clothing. That's the extent of it. You will see some people dressed because they enjoy dragging nice clothes with them to WDW but then you will see some who are not dressed. Like me. My DH will be in khakis because he prefers them but I'll be in nice jeans if it's cool or casual capris if it's warm. If the weather is nice enough, wear shorts as long as they aren't cut offs with ragged edges.

thanks alot everyone. That does ease my mind. We dress nice and clean just not dressed up on vacation. Our vacation trends have changed to being comfortable and since we live in the north we can't wait to get rid of the pants. We would rather pile on the sweatshirts or sweaters than wear jeans or slacks.
