Jiko??

Any insight as to why Jiko still has not reopened, and if by any chance it will soon? Staying at AKL in a few weeks and am incredibly disappointed to see Jiko still isn't back.

My guess is staffing. They are still really struggling to hire staff across the board (even offering sign-on bonuses right now).

Disney doesn't like to leave money on the table so I can't imagine they are keeping income generators closed unless it's impossible to open them.

I have also heard that staffing is the issue. This is one of my favorites so I'm also very anxious for it to reopen. Flying Fish too. Hoping it will be early in the new year - saw a rumor somewhere that they were hoping end of January for FF - but who knows.

I saw that tours are coming back online and I was really hoping to take my daughter on the Wanyama Safari next year. She loved dinner at Jiko the one and only time she got to eat there (in 2019) and I would love to take her on the safari too.
