Never been to Jiko or Sanaa. I hear Sanaa has great bread service. We are only eating at Jiko and was wondering do they have bread service? Is it comparable to Sanaa?

Jiko has a "taste of Africa" bread service with 3 (?) bread types and a few spreads. Totally different than Sanaa's amazing bread service.

Is there a way to get the Sanaa bread service without eating there? We are staying at AKL. Is there a bar area to order this at and get and drink with?

Yes, you can get it at Sanaa's lounge. Ask for all 9 spreads (only a few dollars more than 3).

We were just at Sanaa two weeks ago and were informed they no longer have anything but the 5 bread, 9 sauce service. The smaller version is gone. That being said, we never got the smaller version.

Jiko is one of our favorite restaurants at WDW and a must do each trip.
Their bread service is good, but does not compare to Sanaa.
If you can, I would do the bread service in the Sanaa lounge and as mentioned, you want the 9 sauce service. Amazing, and a meal in its self.
Just saw the post about the 5 sauce no longer being available ( we also never got that one).

Jiko is one of our top 3 favorite dinners on property. Their 'bread service' isn't nearly as good as sanaa though. Perhaps you could go to the lounge over at Kidani for a drink and bread service appetizer, then go over to Jiko for your main dinner?
