I'm thinking about booking Jiko. (We are staying at AKL) Looking at the menu - I 'm only interested in one of the Flatbreads and one of the Desserts. My daughter that is 10 yrs old and look every bit of 13 yrs old - she only likes what is on the Kids menu. Now, my husband will probably ordered an entree- who knows.

With all of that said - I'm wondering if we will have any problems at the rest.

Jiko's is one of our favorite places as we go there every trip! My ds is 13 and is BIG and they have let him order from the kids menu (pizza) no problem. Dh LOVES the filet w/ mac & cheese. I love the flatbread and last time I ordered the veggie dish. Your server could help you with your order - the first time I went I had no idea what to choose but everything I have ordered I have loved.

Hope you enjoy it! :)

I don't think you'll have any problems.. and the flatbreads are AWESOME :D :D :D One night on our last trip, my DH and I went down to Jiko later in the night and shared a flatbread and a bottle of wine.. So perfect :D

We love Jiko and can't pass up on the Filet Mignon/Gourmet Mac & Cheese meal when we eat there. I like trying different foods and I love their selection of appetiezers.

I have discovered that you need to be the "adventurous" type when it comes to food. Then it pays to try different stuff that you may not have considered before and can be pleasantly surprised.

Of course sometimes you get something you hate, but hey... then you never eat it again, right?

Rob :)

Kenyan coffee BBQ chicken flatbread - to DIE for!

DS is picky, and DD is not, and both loved their meals at Jiko, as did DH and myself. The lamb dish is superb!

I will warn you, if they have any desserts that say "green apple" anything, it will be very tart!

I don't see why you should have any problems. Jiko along with California Grill is our favorite place to eat at WDW.

Highly reccomend Jiko! It's become a must-do every trip ever since two trips ago. So granted, I've only been two times so far, but it's amazing and I don't plan on not continuing to go anytime soon. Their signature dish, the Oak-Grilled Filet Mignon is so good that I've yet to try anything else there.
