I had all my ADRs set for our September trup....then I heard some really great things about Jiko. So, I currently have Jiko and Flying Fish ressies for the same night. Which one do I ditch???? We are also eating at Citricos and Narcosees if that helps in some strange way. Thanks!!:goodvibes

Wow, tough call. I rank these 4 in this order:

JIKO, FF, Citricos and then Narcoosees. FF has great fish/seafood, much better than Narcoosees, but Jiko offers many unique items you probably can't get anywhere else.

Jiko's food is outstanding..I had a woderful leg of Lamb there once..I'm not sure if it's still on the menu.

Those are two outstanding restaurants. If seafood is what you're looking for do FF, however, JIKO is the one I'd choose because of it's uniqueness.:goodvibes

I would go to both Flying Fish and Jiko, keep Citricos and Cancel Narcoosees.

I agree with the poster above. I think Jiko and the Flying Fish cafe are the two best restaurants at Disney so I could never choose between them!

Beyond having outstanding food, Jiko has a unique selection of food and style, a different experience than what you'll get at most restaurants outside of Disney. I would vote you eat there for sure.

This is a tough one. I guess if I have to choose one, I would go with Jiko for the uniqueness of the menu and the wonderful wine list. Honestly, though, you can't go wrong at either restaurant.

They are both great, but Jiko gets the nod for great food in a great atmosphere and before/after dinner you can walk around the beautiful AKL and see the animals!

We love both FF and Jiko. That's a tough call. We've had great meals at both.

Jiko might be the best restaurant at WDW. The food is phenomenal. I think I would put Citricos above FF.

Jiko not only has incredible food (and the best cheese plate that I've had on property) but also serene, peaceful atmosphere. The decor is lovely and features gradually shifting light on the wall murals. I had good food and enjoyed the decor at Flying Fish but it felt frenetic and loud.

Jiko is stellar. The portions are large, very large and the food quality will blow you away. The waiters/waitresses are impeccable, truly the best dining experience on property besides Victoria and Alberts.

Flying Fish, meh. Food and waitstaff are spotty, imo.

Thanks folks!! You DISers are a wealth of information and ever so helpful. Since this is our 10th Anniversary trip, I changed some things around and we will be dining at both!

Thanks again for all your help!!

A friend of mine is a Disney executive and dines all the time at WDW. I asking him in his opinion what restaurant was the best of the all restaurants.

He replied rather quickly Flying Fish.

I have dined at Jikos and it is very good, but Flying Fish is our first dinner upon arriving at WDW.

Everyone has their preferences, but in all honesty, you can't go wrong with either. Both restaurants are excellent.

Considering they are in different areas of WDW, I would pick the one that would be easiest to get to and to fit into your schedule. I'm sure you'll be happy with either one.
