Which would you choose and why?

We want to do a Signature on our last night. We are staying at WL, so that might make Artist Pionte a better choice, since we will need to pack. :goodvibes However, I could be sold on Jiko if it is really that much better.:goodvibes

I think Jiko is better, but I had a very good meal at Artist Point last October.

Jiko is probably better, but not so much better as to skip Artist Point right in your hotel lobby. Figure that the transpo from WL to Jiko will take you at least 30 minutes each way, using WDW transpo. That's an hour less time to pack.

Jiko, definitely Jiko. Although Artist's Point is very good in its own right (and its planked salmon out of this world), Jiko, IMHO, is something very special indeed. From the amazing ambience and setting, to the very creative and unique selections, you will not be disappointed. Couple that with (perhaps) a cocktail or other beverage at the Victoria Falls bar on the mezzanine level right above Jiko, and you have the makings of a truly "signature" evening.

we had a great meal at both restaurants, but the ambiance at artist's point is definitely lacking....i like the atmosphere at jiko's better.

While the food is good at Artist Point, there is a more variety of food at Jiko. Artist Point is a good place to go to, and I would recommend it. Jiko is just my favorite place, and I recommend it over Artist Point.

On your last night, stay at your resort, enjoy the resort and eat at Artist Point.

Both are great and you cannot go wrong with either. Jiko is my favorite place at WDW (with AP in the top 5), but since you are staying at the WL, Artist Point would certainly be the more convenient choice for your last night.

Jiko by a mile. We have eaten at Artist Point several times and have been disapointed every time. Jiko along California Grill is our favorite place to dine at WDW.

I've never eaten at Artist's Point but I can't believe it could possibly be better than JIKO! This place is amazing. Do try it-you won't be disappointed!

They are both wonderful restaurants. Normally, I would say go to Jiko, but given that you are at WL and it's your last night, I'd lean towards AP.

For the record, Jiko is our favorite place on property. But on our last trip a week ago) AP won the overall best dinner award. Jiko had the best entree, but as far as the whole meal went, Artist Point won.

I'd actually vote for Artist Point. I ate there for the first time two years ago and I was very impressed. It was a very nice quiet restaurant, and the architecture was impressive. Plus, you can get nice views of the resort, depending on where your seat is. The other benefit is, like you said, you're already at your resort to pack up.

I have to chime in that there is something great about eating in your own hotel after running all over the resort the rest of your stay. I am starting out the first night by eating at Jikos simple because it looks good and I am staying at AKL. I think taking it easy for your last night and perhaps getting more sleep for it is a good thing. I hate it when I need a vacation from my vacation.

We dined at Jiko for the first time last week. WOW is all that I can say.

However ---- Artist's Point has always been our "special meal" place. I can't say that Jiko has taken over that designation, but it certainly is right up there with Artist's Point.

I think that my advice would be based on whether you have children. Don't get me wrong --- children will be welcomed in either place. But Jiko struck us as a more intimate atmosphere. Artist's Point has maybe a bit more room to "roam", if you have very small children.

We still absolutely love both restaurants.

You can't go wrong with either, but -

Jiko is my favorite of the two. The food is outstanding and the cheese plate is the best I've had on property. The dining room is beautiful with the changing lights on the murals. It is an oasis of food happiness.

My meals at Artist Point have been less spectacular.

I liked Artist Point more, but my DH liked Jiko better. I don't think you can go wrong.
