So it should be 2 credits, correct? I ask because we ate there Saturday night and were only charged one credit. We were dining with a large group...7 adults. We went in with 17 credits between us and had planned on spending the 14 credits. When our slips came back we were all charged for one credit! We had 10 remaining. I asked our server if it was correct and he said yes, it was. Two of the 3 families were leaving the next day and would not have time for any more sit down meals. These were of course the 2 families on the plan! We were treating the others to dinner that night (adults only, the kids for all 3 families were at Simbas). The third family had another day and a half so they could use our credits the next day (they expired at midnight the next day). We figured what they would need and asked our server if anyone in the restaurant was celebrating a special occasion. There was a couple celebrating a birthday and another celebrating an anniversary. They both had different servers than ours. We spoke to both couples and told them that we would like to buy them dinner. :goodvibes Our server had spoken to both of their servers to verify the special occasions. I gave my card to their server and my friend gave hers to the other. Both slips came back with one credit per person taken out. We gave the remaining 6 credits to our friends to use for their planned breakfast for 4 at Boma and dinner for 2 at Kona Cafe.

So 3 different servers charged 1 credit for the meal rather than 2. :confused3 Our meal for a party of 7 adults came to over $450 once tax and gratuity (which we left extra for as well) were added in. $450 for 7 credits...not so bad, eh?

Yes, it is two credits - I'd have made sure to correct that with the server (I'll do that even if I'm undercharged at a grocery store).

I did ask the server if it was correct. As a matter of fact I had a discussion with him about it because I said we had 17 credits remaining and had "budgeted" them thinking we would need 14 for dinner yet the slip came back saying 10 remaining, was it correct that we were only charged for one. He said yes it was. That the computer was set to take the correct number of credits and someone earlier that night had commented that it was their 2nd dinner there on their trip, the first time it took 2 each and the second it took 1 each but the manager said it was correct. :confused3 I don't know if it was a computer glitch for the day and they couldn't change it that day so anyone eating then lucked out or if it is changing. :confused3 But I did discuss it with him. That was how we decided to spread some magic by buying dinner for a few others. We weren't going to have time to use them and our friends couldn't do more than 2 sit downs in one day. We offered them 8 credits if they wanted to take the kids to dinner but the kids wanted to do a kids club so they only needed 6 credits.

I can't imagine them making Jiko a one credit restaurant so maybe it was a glitch that night. He told us the computer asks how many people are using the plan and when they tell it 7, it would normally take 14 credits but it took 7. There was no way for him to go back and take 7 more credits.

Okay, I always get concerned if the waiter has to pull money out of his pocket for errors (I've been a server) - but it sounds like you hit the dining credit lottery that night!

Our server at Rose & Crown accidentally charged us for only 1 credit (instead of 2). I didn't notice it on the receipt until we were on the bus back to the resort, so I stopped by the front desk and told them. All the items ordered were on the receipt. The AKL CM deducted the credit from our account and said it was fixed. I just kept thinking that since R&C is not a Disney-owned restaurant and I believe they are reimbursed by Disney for the credited meals, the higher-ups would make her come up with the money for it. Maybe this wouldn't have happened, but I would have felt bad for her. A slightly different situation in our case.
