Jiko dress code

How can I convince my DH to bring something nice to wear (other than jeans and sneaks) so we can go to Jiko's is worth it? I can't be the only person with this problem!

Your DH does not need to dress up to dine at Jiko. As long as he is in jeans, t-shirt and tennis shoes--he's fine!

Actually Jiko is one of the restaurants that now has a business casual dress code. You *might* get away with nice jeans and a collared shirt, but no t-shirts.

It's not a matter of "getting away" with anything. Jeans are on the list for business casual at WDW. As far as Tshirts, it depends on the CR who makes the ARs whether collared shirts are listed.

However, my guys always wear collared shirts.

When I've eaten there, I've seen people wear just about everything--but most of the men were in khakis or jeans and polos or other collared shirts.

It's definitely worth it, in my opinion--some of the best food I've ever tasted!

Do you think sneakers are allowed? I saw dresscode but it doesn't say anything about sneakers. I can get him to wear jeans and collared shirt but I know he is not going to want to wear anything but sneaks. If it's no then we'll have to skip it!

I am sure sneakers are allowed....and jeans are casual...bottom line is if you are dressed nice, no tank tops, no cut off shorts, you think they are going to turn away.....

We have eaten there in nice khaki shorts and a nice shirt and always sneakers...

Sneakers are allowed. We had several people in our group who wore them.

I wear jeans all week, even to CG, but I dress them up or down with shirts, sweatshirts, or nice blouses with terrific jackets.
