So Jiko has always been one of my favorite restaurants on property and still is. Ate there this past weekend after not being there for some time.
First I noticed they only brought out the giraffe bread I could have sworn they used to bring out two different breads am I mistaken?
Second the duck confit flatbread was small and round, I could swear last time it was oval and much bigger.
Third the wild boar appetizer was three small pieces?

The entrees seemed to be a bit smaller. The seafood tagine seemed to have much less seafood
The lame shank was still a very nice size

It was still a favorite of mine and maybe I’m mistaken in my memory but the portions on a lot of the food seemed quite a bit smaller.

Don’t get me wrong I would go back in a minute just not sure if I am remembering correctly

I've been to Jiko twice. My experiences mirror yours; the food was good both times, but I recall the first visit delivering more for my money, while the second seemed more like California cuisine.

I think some of the appetizer portion sizes are down a bit - at all Disney restaurants - I noticed it with Jiko last month with the boar and duck appetizers. But the entrees pretty much seemed the same to me.

As to the breads, when I went a few years ago, the giraffe bread was served with a kind of flatbread too - last month, it was just the giraffe bread. Fortunately for me, I only ate the giraffe bread anyway!
