Jiko Compared to Boma

One has nothing to do with the other, IMO. That is like asking "If I don't like fish sticks, will I not like a nice blackened swordfish steak?" They are 2 totally different things. The best way to find out is to try.

What didn't you like about Boma? Without knowing that, it's kinda hard to say whether or not you'd like Jiko. :)

Well, the food was a little too exotic for us. We liked Sanaa because it seemed a little less exotic, but I wasn't sure if Jiko was more similar to Boma or Sanaa in that respect.

I don't think anything is exotic as Jiko. It's even less exotic than Sanaa.

We visited Jiko's our first night during our trip the week after Thanksgiving 2010 and really liked it. Here is our meal menu and the dessert menu.

Sometimes you have to read between the lines on these menus such as potato puree is an exotic way to say mashed potatoes! :lmao: Nevertheless, we enjoyed it very much.

This.

I would just like to state for the record that the flank steak flat bread on the menu up there was freaking amazing.

We have no interest in Boma and love Jiko.

The BBQ Chicken flatbread is amazing as is the Filet and Mac & Cheese.

We strongly disliked Boma but are looking forward to Jiko. I have been assured they have almost NOTHING in common.
