One has nothing to do with the other, IMO. That is like asking "If I don't like fish sticks, will I not like a nice blackened swordfish steak?" They are 2 totally different things. The best way to find out is to try.
Well, the food was a little too exotic for us. We liked Sanaa because it seemed a little less exotic, but I wasn't sure if Jiko was more similar to Boma or Sanaa in that respect.
We visited Jiko's our first night during our trip the week after Thanksgiving 2010 and really liked it. Here is our meal menu and the dessert menu.
Sometimes you have to read between the lines on these menus such as potato puree is an exotic way to say mashed potatoes! Nevertheless, we enjoyed it very much.
