Jiko bar question

Anyone know if you can sit at the bar at Jiko and order a full meal? Not talking about the Chef's "cooking place" area , but the actual bar that sits in the little lounge area.

Yes, you can order food while sitting at the bar off to the right. TDCNala had a nice list of places that you can order while at the bar, but I don't know them all offhand. She's mentioned eating there before. I have usually eaten at the Cooking Place counter, but I would probably eat at the bar.

Yes, there was a group eating there on one of our visits. It is a very small area though. I felt as if they did not have much "private" space

Yes, I've eaten there before, they will serve the full menu.

There are a few tables in that area. You might be able to use one if it's not busy. If it's busy, they seat regular restaurant patrons at those tables.
