Do the Jibbetz work okay in the Mickey Crocs? Seems like they might not stay in as well since the holes are bigger than on regular Crocs. DD is asking for the Mickey Crocs this year but she also loves her Jibbetz and will be disappointed if they don't work on her new shoes. So I want to be sure before I plunk down the money for the Mickey ones.

I am 98% sure that they do work in the Mickey Crocs. The back end of the jibbitz is large enough to stay in the holes. I don't think the Mickey holes are that large that they'd fall out.

They can fall out unless it is a small toddler pair of crocs. At WDW, they sell jibbitz with a small clear disc so they stay in better.

Somebody used to sell something on ebay that kept them in, but looks like they aren't selling them anymore (called disBitz). Here is their facebook page, there is an email listed. http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=59112265447

There are some jibbitz that have the small black backing that may slip out of the mickey crocs but I've seen new jibbitz at the parks that have this clear plastic ring that make them wider so they won't slip out of the mickey crocs holes.

Thanks for all the info and the quick responses. Just a couple more questions.

Do the Jibbetz cost more at Disney World than they do on the Crocs website? And has anyone seen any designs at Disney that are not available on the Crocs site?

Thanks much.:)

Ours have fallen out several times from size 8/9 and up. One fell out once even with the plastic disk, no idea how!!! I now put two of the discs on the croc if I put jibbitz in. Most of ours just don't have jibbitz or I switch them out every once in a great while.

My DS3 has a pair and keeps loosing his Jibbitz! His just have the black disk...so not sure if the newer Jibbitz work better. He already lost his Mickey head and his Thomas the Train and Lightening McQueen keep falling out! I think his Mickey Crocs are on 8/9 toddler size.

DS now 6 is a Croc's fanatic! I would not recommend putting any jibbitz in the Mickey croc's unless you are prepared to lose them. DS had them about 2 years ago - he is now in size 13, but back then I am guessing 8 or 9. We had a few special Disney jibbitz for these croc's and they were gone within a few days. All of them. They are definitely not made to hold your average jibbitz with the normal black backing. Granted, this comes from a lot of experience, and yes, we have lost a jibbitz or two here and there, or parts have broken off. Nothing compares to the loss of jibbitz we had with the Mickey croc's though.

We've lost a small fortune in Jibbitz in the Mickey Crocs, even with the plastic discs in use. I've finally given up! They don't stay on the Crocs with the regular round holes for very long either!

I've had my Mickey Crocs for five years and got the Jibbitz the next day. They tell you the Jibbitz won't work, but mine have. They are still hanging in there even though I've worn the disign off the bottom of the shoes!

My DD has Mickey crocs and the jibbitz don't work with them. She has a regular pair and has her jibbitz in them. She's a croc fanatic and wears them all the time. She's also very into flip-flops. :goodvibes

I cut a small slit in ds's crocs with a paring knife and poked the jibbitz in there. They will fall out of the Mickey shaped holes.

Thanks again for all the info. It's convinced DD to just get a regular pair of Crocs and collect some new Disney Jibbetz while we're there. We've had pretty good luck with her Jibbetz staying in. I told her that if she wants she can buy Mickey Crocs with some of her souvie money while we're at Disney - I haven't found any in cute girl colors anyway. I have a feeling when she finds out how much they cost she'll decide the Jibbetz are a better deal.:goodvibes

We use rubber bands on the back of the Jibbitz - connecting them together in twos. It has worked for years.
