Jets trainer trips Miami player!

DS is a Jets fan, I am a Fin's fan ( have been since '69) anyway...we are in Chicago and didn't get the game until the last few plays. They televised at after the Bears were crushed by New England who just happened to crush the Jets last week ;)
Guess they couldn't take being beaten at home by their rivals.
Thanks for the link!

The guy should be fired and the team should have a huge penalty. It's obvious from the tape that it was deliberate.

showed the link to DS before he left for school...he looked at me like, Holy .....! and shook his head.
The arrogance of that guy.
KARMA, you're needed!

I'm a Jets fan and that sequence was pretty dissapointing. I agree he should be fired. He's a strength and conditioning coach I believe. Nice job, losing one of the most fun jobs you can get in your profession.

Exactly- what an idiot.

This guy just ruined his career in one moment. For what it's worth, he will have an entire lifetime to beat himself up over this. Our harsh comments here are nothing in comparison.

They just showed this on GMA...said they are "contemplating" firing the guy.
Contemplating?

Good. Sal Alosi could have ended Nolan Carroll's career.

agnes!

While harsh punishment is necessary, I am not capable of cheering for a man's life in ruins at this young an age.

I wasn't aware that I was 'cheering' - I just think extremely serious consequences are in order and that Alosi should feel guilty. He did something stupid and possible criminal. If Alosi had broken Carroll's leg, if he had caused a serious concussion or something similar, Carroll would have had to live with the results of Alosi's action for the rest of his life.

agnes!

Sorry - I misinterpreted your post. I have no sympathy for him, but his life just changed. I have family members who are professional coaches. This guy has no idea what he just flushed away.

Hard to explain, but for people aspiring to a life in professional coaching, yes.

Well, obviously he does not have the skills or disposition to be a successful coach. Perhaps he can take advantage of his young age and retrain for a new career. Maybe as a road side construction worker on a major highway. Bet he keeps his knees inside the lines then.
