We are considering flying Jetblue, but I was wondering if they assign seats? I have a family of 6, and we do not want to be separated on the flight.

Yes. And they do not oversell any flights.

I just book Jet Blue out of Newark. It worked out great for us. We are first flying into West Palm Beach and staying there for a couple of days to visit Grandma and then we are driving up to Orlando to spend some time with the Mouse :earsboy:

We got a great rate. Looking forward to our first trip with Jet Blue. We wanted to fly non-stop after the our last trip with Delta earlier this month from Orlando. Nothing that Delta did. They can't control the weather, but we missed our connecting flight and had to spend the night in Atlanta since there were no other flights at our regional airport that night.

We just booked two different trips on Jet Blue from Newark. We have never flown them before. I paid $135.00 R/T for Nov 20th and $195.40 for Dec 19th. Do they provide earphones for their tv monitors?

You'll love JetBlue, and it's even better that they're flying from Newark.

They provide free basic headsets for the TV monitors. They are located in a bin when you board the plane. They also sell an 'upgraded' version for $1.00 in another bin. If you have headphones from iPod, walkman, etc you can use those as well.

And even better news Jet Blue has just joined DME as per the new All Ears newsletter.

Wow that is much better then Delta that charged us for the headphones. I forgot what the price was, but we got to keep them. They offered us them when we boarded the plane and were not able to leave for Atlanta due to storms. We sat on the airplane for well over an hour at the gate

I am assuming we can use those on Jet Blue. I am really looking forward to flying on Jet Blue. I am so happy they are now out of Newark.
