They do drop their prices. They use to give you the money back but not they consider it a change so you get charged the $100 change fee before they refund anything.

Thank you! I'm watching a flight out of BWI and I'm pretty sure the price went down from when first released. There are only a few seats sold on each flight, so I'm going to wait to purchase. Maybe they'll go down more.

Yes, they sometimes drop their fares, but no longer give credit for the difference. You would have to cancel the existing flight, which would incur a cancellation fee (based on the original fare, amounts differ), then anything left over will go into a credit which can be applied to your new flight, which you now can go and book.

We fly from Newburgh, NY to Orlando. We usually pay more since it's a smaller airport, but its only 15 minutes from our house, very convenient. In the last 2 weeks, their fare has sky rocketed! Over $600 round trip! Really Jet Blue?? I was so annoyed I sent them an email. We usually pay about $350.

Yes I completely agree. We always fly Jet Blue and the price roundtrip from Newark to Orlando is over 700 dollars a person that is INSANE!!! had no choice but to book united so upset. but jetblue lost money on us not even gonna chance pricing it out with high prices like that i can't seeing it coming down by 1/2???

If your flight price decreases within 14 days of booking you will receive a credit for the difference back to your travel bank, and those funds can be applied to a future reservation. There is no $100 change fee if you are within that initial two week period. All you need to do is call.

I booked flights for October on March 8th of this year. 8 days later, one leg of those flights went down by $25 per person. On the original booking, one of us paid cash and one of us used Jetblue points. On the cash booking, the $25.03 was deposited into a travel bank for my DH. On the points booking (for my seat), the original transaction was reversed and reprocessed, with the difference in points being redeposited to my True Blue account. All it took was a 15 minute phone call.

I forget about the 14 day period. Also didn't realize October is already booking. Will have to book my flights soon then.

Thanks for that info. I was trying to find this exact answer. I know about the 14 day credit with no fee, but booked with points and today is my 14 day so was trying to find out about the points credit. It's a 1,400 point different. Today is my last day to call.
