bought plane tix months ago,b/c I liked the day/time.....randomly checked today....the price dropped $60 per person!

Hartford-Orl. dec 11- fare dropped $60 per person!
JB has a better policy for credits than SW_ they drop them all into my JB acct. #,so I have them to use for the next year!
if you see a drop,just call for the credit.....

I'm a JB lover too and let me add to your post. When you get a credit from JB, you have one year from the day your get the credit to use it (unlike SW where you have one year from the purchase date of the ticket). Keep in mind that you can only get the credit if all of your seats are available. For example, if you bought 4 seats, but only 3 are on sale at the lower price, you can't get the discount. I often will purchase in 2 separate bookings when we are a party of 6, unless the price is dirt cheap and I know there will be nothing lower. Also, if the fare drop is a one day web fare price, you can't get a credit there either.

My January flight price just dropped and I got another credit in my account. I had booked at $81 from Dulles to MCO, but it dropped to $69 so a $12 credit for the each of us. I had not expected this one to drop since it's a Sunday and during MLK weekend. I paid $69 for my flight home, so pretty good. Not the $49 fares they are offering for other days, but I'm happy with my dates. Now if I could just get a good price for my May and August trips.

My rate dropped AGAIN another $10 each. Now my fare is $59 out of Dulles to MCO and I just got another $20 credit. I didn't see this coming traveling during a holiday weekend.

I know and it's a holiday weekend, and just last night my rate DROPPed again for my return home flight and saved another $20. I've managed $65 credit over the last couple of days. If I had travelled during the week days, the rate dropped to $49 each way on those days.
