Is there a best day to purchase JetBlue tickets when they are more likely to be discounted a bit? Today (Wednesday) I am seeing $99 each way from Buffalo to Orlando, and that seems like a good deal. Just wondering if I should purchase or wait. Thanks!

$99 each way (direct I assume?). I would defintely snag them up! With Oil prices continuingto rise, I wouldn't take the chance.

Thats a great deal and if the prices do go down in the future, just think that it's not that big of deal as it would hurt you more if the prices were to go up.

Yes, direct! I was considering the same price connecting on Southwest, but with 3 little kids to move along and only a half hour layover many DIS'ers talked me out of it!

For this trip, I would grab them.

For future trips, follow JetBlue and JetBlueCheeps on Twitter. They tweet when a good deal has been released. In my experience, the good deals are released on Tuesdays.

I wish they would release a good deal for my summer trip. I paid $198 round trip in March. The same flights are $388 round trip for this summer.

Some people have suggested signing up for yapta, which will track flight prices for you. I have found a huge time lag between when the price draps and when yapta sends me an e-mail telling me about it. When JetBlue extended its trip dates recently, it took yapta several days to even allow you to track those flights.

I always try and find Direct flights even if the ticket is about $20-40 more. To me there is a price on TIME. I'd rather be at my destination faster and less of a headache.

Also with layovers you run into RISKS. If the window is too close you can miss your connecting flight, you can run into weather delays even if your destination airport has perfect weather, and since most of the time you have to switch planes theres are chances of them loosing your luggage.

With those risks I'd rather spend alittle more and go direct. In your case $99 from NY to Orlando is a good deal. I know because when I booked mine it was $225 a ticket roundtrip, thus $112 each way from NY.

Today is the lowest I've seen since tracking flights since March.. I would book today.. $99 each way is a great deal!

If I were you I'd hop on that price ASAP! I keep checking airfares out of Rochester New York for August 12th thru August 26th ,and right now Jet Blue is around the $200 mark for a one way ticket. Airtran is somewhere around $144 one way! I only wish I could find $99 one way. I'm getting nervous because I've never waited this long to buy airfare. I'm wondering if we might cancel the whole trip as I don't feel I really want to pay $800 or $900 round trip to fly 3 people!:headache:::sad2:
Wonder if there is still hope of any more price drop before August trip. :confused3:confused3

Have you checked flying out of Buffalo? We did that in December...JFK was closed and we were to fly through there, fortunately we (8 of us) were able to change our flights and go out of Buffalo.

I thought about doing that, but by the time we would pay to leave our vehicle in the parking lot at the Buffalo airport for two weeks,it doesn't look as appealing. No friends to ask to drive us there. And a compact car rental through Alamo for one 24 hour period is $74.00. Thanks for the thought through.

I have normally heard Tues/Wed as well. I booked my tickets for Nov on Tues. Today I noticed that my return flight was down $10, but only 1 seat available at that price.

I am very happy with my price overall, much cheaper than any other airlines I checked. Jetblue is always my first choice as well
