Jetblue question on releasing fares

No, but Ive been checking daily waiting for Presidents Week. I will book with either JB or SW and neither of them are available.

I check at least a couple of times a day.

Does anyone know if they usually release them at a certain time of day? I know Southwest is something like 10 or 11:00, wondering if JetBlue is similar.

TheWog is another DIS member, and another experienced JetBlue customer. We're both pretty good at predicting when they'll release new fares

I feel fortunate that I have 3 airports within 90 minutes of our house so we have lots of choices. If JetBlue doesnt release until September I will probably book with SW when they release in August. Luckily we can be somewhat flexible with our dates.

UUGGGGG, I need fares for Jan 6th & 10th and all I've seen for the longest time is up to Jan 4th. I hope they release them before Sept, I want to get this flight booked and I really want to fly jetblue.

"the longest time" = end of April/beginning of May
Prior to that, for the longest time, fares were available through October 31, 2010.
We* estimate additional fares will be released in late September or early October. There is NO OFFICIAL BASIS for this estimate. JetBlue Customer Service Reps don't have any advance knowledge.

I'm hoping they will release by mid-August. Knowing that Southwest is releasing fares August 17th, I would think they would want to compete with that and try to get people before they book Southwest.

I just got off the phone with Jetblue....although she said she is never told more than a day or two ahead of time, SHE thinks they will be extending the window soon. Don't know what she is basing this on but she is a Jetblue employee.

Does anyone have any idea how far out they generally extend their dates to? The woman I spoke with told me that they find this out the same time they find out when the window is being extended. Just curious to see if anyone knows what they have done in the past. We are looking for April 2011 and the fares we are finding now are outrageous. It doesn't help that my school vacation coincides with Easter this year! Not only expensive but also crowded!

When your stalking airfare, 2 months does feel like the longest time! Im still waiting and checking..........

Last time JetBlue released fares, they covered the period from November 1, 2010 through January 4, 2011. That was at the end of April/beginning of May. You can go back and search this board for that period, but it was before May 10.

I am in the same boat, trying to plan a trip with extended family during April vacation. I am having nightmares over $1000 R/T flights.
