Does anyone have any idea when Jetblue will release their November rates?

Airtran has recently posted fares through Nov 22nd. They will likely have the rest of the month up soon if they are an option for you. Though I can't say I'd recommend them given their propensity to change their flight schedules repeatedly and eliminate non-stop flights after the fact. I too am (patiently) waiting for jetBlue to publish Nov fares. I am quite nervous the rates will be high.

Did you check with Jet Blue? I called on 3/1 and was told this week...didn't happen though. I have been checking several times a day since I need seven tickets for December.

I was hoping sooner than May also. We have to buy 6 for November. This is killing me as with 6 tix, that is a huge chunk of our budget. I am really anxious to find out the prices. I love Jetblue, but am concerned the prices may be too high.

Last year they came out on May 9th and we booked that day for December 18th flight Buffalo to Orlando- paid $72 each- the flights home were a lot more money even that day so we ended up waiting for Southwest to come out and used them for the way home. Everyone on here kept saying it was a later that usual release date for Jet Blue.

I am in the same boat. Desperately waiting for jb to release fares for Nov/Thanksgiving. We too are terrified of outrageous fares.

A few years ago we booked a trip for Pres Week only to see JB airfares were $525 round trip per person out of HPN (White Plains)! We almost died. We waited a while to see if fares would drop but they never did. We wound up canceling the trip and moving it to April.

This time I plan on trying to book as far in advance as possible. I hope JB is cheap enough. I don't want to be tempted to book Airtran.

Oh I hope that doesn't happen. DVC members and I used three years of points to book our Xmas week reservations.

I literally check Airtran and JB websites daily hoping they have fares posted soon. As of this moment Newark has some cheap flights for Nov but EWR is a schlep for me in CT. I have Southwest too out of Hartford if things look really bad.

I haven't checked with JetBlue, but reading their website somewhere it indicates they release fares six months in advance. Yes, I know the October fares have been available longer than that - but they don't do a month at a time, and to release several months now would effectively have them in the same category with the legacy airlines, with some fares available almost a year in advance.

May's not that far off - and yes, I'm anxiously awaiting December, so I'm not preaching ;)

That October thing messed everything up. I hope they release soon and hope they include through the end of February (although they probably won't).....oh well.

Our trip spans end of Oct to beginning of Nov. End of Oct flights are out, Nov isn't. We could book a one way now, but then that locks us into returning to that airport. We have several airports we can travel out of and usually take the one with the best prices and times. So if we book the one way now, it really limits our options for the return.

I am waiting on JB to post the fares for November too, when I was originally planning this years trip, was going to head down after Thanksgiving but the fares when I checked Delta were over $1000 RT, so changed our dates for the trip but decided to hold off and see if the fares would come down, at the time I booked Delta was going for around $450 RT, knowing I flew on JB last March for less than $200 RT , I am keeping my fingers crossed for low fares in Nov :confused3....last week Delta ran a special for around $250 RT for my dates , this promo ends today I believe but still holding out as I liked my flight on JB last year more than the times I have flown Delta. I am just scared when JB does post the fares they are going to be higher than the $250 Delta fare :scared1:

There is ABSOLUTELY NO evidence that what I'm about to GUESS is fact. Absolutely NONE, whatsoever.

I don't want to get anyone overly excited or to mislead anyone.

I will say I'm fairly analytical (and would probably make an okay juror EXCEPT that sometimes I jump to unsupported conclusions before all the evidence has been presented).

Is all that enough disclaimers?

Good.

I think JetBlue is getting ready to extend fares through February 10.

I DON'T KNOW WHEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I had to GUESS (yes, again) I'd say, by the end of the week, beginning of next week?

I HAVE NO "IN", no secret source, no inside knowledge. Whatsoever. I can't prove my guess, and even if I'm right, JetBlue can, of course, change their plans at any time.

Questions must be double-spaced, printed in Comic Sans, on 8.5" x 11" mint green lined paper with shamrock-green lines parallel to any text. Questions accompanied by an extra ream of matching paper with coordinating envelopes witll be answered first.

I actually have that paper, but just how do I stuff it in here?

Question: How come only February 10 and why not March 1? See, I need through February 27 so can you throw a brotha a bone?

Y'know, I'd love to - especially someone like you, TheWog. You know that. Again, I've got NO source, just some deductions, and this is how things appear to me. The only thing I can figure is, they're gonna be holding back on February vacation week (and the subsequent college spring breaks) pricing.

As I said earlier in this thread, everything absolute piece of information I can find on the website indicates "six months in advance". Now, we all know this not to be exactly accurate, since August/September/October fares have been out for a while now, and it's only just barely six months to August. But it'd likely be more trouble than it's worth to release fares like Disney releases park hours (a month at a time) and would make planning REALLY hard.

IF I'm right, they'll really be exceeding their published policy - February 10 is 327 days away. That's just four days shy of how far in advance the legacy airlines release fares!

eta: I want that paper so badly, you just tell me where and when I can pick it up :rotfl2:!

$1,000 RT? Wow. What airport was that from? Not sure where you are in CT. I am in the Danbury area so I have several options for flights to MCO.

HPN (White Plains) is our first choice and has both JB and Airtran usually around $200-$250 RT. SWF (Newburgh, NY) has a few JB flights still. Southwest is an option out of Hartford and last we could use one of the NYC airports (LGA or JFK being the closest). Continental has some fares for $364 out of Newark over Thanksgiving. If worst comes to worse we'll do that.

The $1000+ fare was on Delta out of Bradley, this was when I was booking back on Feb 4th, they may have changed since that time, seems like Delta fares go up and down almost daily since I have been watching for a deal for when we go:scared1: waiting now on JB out ot HPN to post their fares we are heading down Nov 8th now, took JB last March out of JFK and liked them very much especially the lower fares. BTW we are in Waterbury so like you we have a few options :)

Don't know if you trust them but Airtran has fares posted through Nov 23rd. I just checked and they are showing about $200 RT from HPN. If you can handle the anxiety of changing departures (or worse - the non-stop that becomes a 1 stop) give them a go.

As an aside, I don't get Bradley Airport. It is such a nice airport. I don't know why their fares usually stink. I love going out of there. Plenty of cheap parking. Not too big and never crowded. Just wish they had more flights.
