I just got an e-mail today that you can now use your electronic devices on take off and landing. So happy they put a stop to that forbidding you nonsense - don't they watch MythBusters?

American and Delta also allow you to use electronic devices during takeoff and landings as well as throughout the flight

It's not the individual airlines. The FAA lifted the restriction.

United now joins the group except for their regional jets, they except those to be approved by the end of the year.
