JetBlue flight change history?

Is there anywhere that shows which JetBlue flights have historically been eliminated/replaced/changed? I've always flown Southwest where I know that once the schedule's set I won't see more than maybe a 5 minute change to my flight and no change to my flight number. I'm considering flying JB but I'm hoping to find out if there are certain flights that are more or less likely to be eliminated or changed compared to others, at least based on past history. Yes I know that past history does not guarantee future performance but at least it's better than a total guess/shot in the dark.

Thank you!

JetBlue doesn't change their schedule as much as the legacy airlines, and even SWA sometimes makes schedule changes (although you have not experienced it).

That said, I am not aware of a resource that provides what you are looking for.

Thanks for the replies. I do know that JB doesn't have the reputation for doing this nearly as much as the legacies but they have been doing it more over the past year from what I've been seeing from people's posts. Nonstop flights matter to me so I'm nervous about possibly ending up on a flight that has a stop.

It's pretty rare for SWA to make schedule changes. I know recently they made a whole bunch of changes to add maybe 5-10 minutes to flight durations but the flight numbers stayed the same as did things like stops. They're just more likely to not offer a flight the next time they release their schedule rather than consolidate or change already scheduled flights. It really seems to be very much the exception with SWA which is why in the past I've been willing to pay a bit extra to fly them over other airlines.

Right now though JB is significantly cheaper than SWA for my dates and I know the SWA prices will NOT be dropping (it's a school vacation week and these flights NEVER go down) so I'm trying to wrap my head around the idea of the possibility of flight changes. I just wish there was some kind of rhyme or reason to it. I can understand that undersold flights could get consolidated but you would think that there would be some kind of pattern to this happening. There probably actually is but I guess it's not being published anywhere.

If anybody knows of any location for this kind of info, I'd be appreciative.

I routinely fly JB...it's either them or SW. Yes, JB does make changes, but not nearly as many as Delta!!! I'm flying JB in early Dec..bought tickets back in May. I think they have made about 3 changed to one or the other of my flights. But, they aren't huge changes...just by 10-15 mins either way. And they've been pretty good about telling me.

Jet blue has made changes on my flights but they are usually minimal -- less then an hour or so --compared to other airlines. Any airline can change flight times. There never are any guarantees regarding times.

In my experience (as a travel agent), Jet Blue does not change their schedules anywhere near as often as the Legacy airlines. However, they do like to cancel flights last minute if they aren't full and the notice you get is usually last minute and says you will get a full refund which I don't find very helpful. Other airlines usually secure a seat on another flight for you then send the notice and you can accept that change or not and then get a refund.

I imagine this won't be as much of an issue for a domestic flight though. I see it more on flights to the islands.

Oh, JB changed our December and March flights this past year. In December we were booked non-stop flights and paid a premium to do so (8 passengers 12/27). They cancelled the non-stop and we had a layover at JFK. I spent 90 minutes Xmas night changing our itinerary, we flew out of Buffalo NY instead of Rochester, had to pay a limo service (200.00)to take us to Buffalo. Total nightmare.

I'd be fine with a couple hour change. It's the possibility of losing the nonstop that has me nervous. I have a daughter who gets ear pain on descent even with earplanes and decongestants and Nasonex so I really try to avoid extra legs when possible. If flights are consolidated and we lose our nonstop, how difficult is it to switch to a different nonstop? I know Air Tran will make the change at no cost; is JB like that as well, assuming there's availability on the flight I'm looking at?

When JB makes changes, do you lose seat assignments like I read happens on other airlines? I would imagine they do if it's a change in equipment or consolidation of flights but if it's just a time change does it happen. I HAVE to sit with my kids (DD13 is autistic and DD11 gets bad ear pain, though DH could take care of DD11 so even 2 sets of 2 seats would suffice but we HAVE to at least have that). On SWA I can make this happen by using EBCI but if it's possible that seat assignments are lost with flight changes on JB and I have to rebook them, what happens if there aren't seats together? I know I'm creating a situation in my head that hasn't happened but I'm the kind of person who needs to prepare for every scenario.

Thanks again everybody!

A few years ago, I headed to WDW on a Sunday night. My dh and dd were due to arrive on Monday night. My dh is a nut about checking (constantly) on flight status. So, they had a 3:00 flight out of Logan, connecting in NY at something like 5:45ish, then heading to MCO. Well, he checked the flight status before leaving home at noon...all was fine and in order. It takes him about 45 mins to get to Logan and he is always waaay early. Good thing, 'cause when they got there??? JB had just cancelled their flight. But, they told him they were fine..they had put he and our dd on the last flight of the day, at 6:45, again connecting in NY, and there wasn't another flight out of NY on JB that night, to MCO!! He told the rep that they had to connect in NY at 5:45...going to be hard to do on a 6:45 flight to NY!!! Well, long story short...they rushed, and I do mean rushed, dh and dd through security, and to the gate of a plane that was getting ready to depart!!!! They held that plane for them!!! My dh had my dd all ready to have to sit apart since it was so late, but as luck would have it, they were able to get two seats together. They boarded, the door was closed behind them, they sat down and that plane taxied out.
Not sure what they would have done if they had been 15 mins later arriving at Logan!!

JB will let you make changes, for no charge, if the flight they put you on doesn't work for you. At least, that has been the case for me. I haven't had my flight cancelled and consolidated with another flight, with JB, for a very long time. I am waiting for that to happen for my Dec flight though...there are flights from Boston to Orlando at 6am, 7:10am and 8am...can't imagine all three will remain. I'm on the 7am, so figure that will be the one to get combined with another flight.

Those are the exact flights I'm looking at for February. I'm surprised that there are still decent prices on the 6am and 7am flights for my dates since it's the beginning of NH vacation week. Because they're still lower, I'm wondering if they'll end up consolidating flights. As long as we can get on one of them I don't really care which (assuming I book; still in the decision making phase) but nonstop really is very important to me as is having an adult with each child.

Are there typically this many nonstops from BOS to MCO so close together? I was surprised when I started looking. I usually fly out of MHT and only look at JB out of BOS when SWA is more than I want to spend.
