Jetblue finally down for October!!! Again today 8/10/06

My dates; October 21 (Saturday) and October 29 (Sunday) were $377 for weeks and they opened up a few months ago at $277 so I waited patiently (well not so patiently really) and it finally paid off!

Well, today they went down to $177!!!! so of course, I booked it.

I hope this helps someone who was waiting for October fares to come down!!!!

I am soooo excited!!! Our fares dropped for 10/7 & 10/14 from Boston to Orlando--we now have a $440 credit to use for our trip to Tampa(cruise) next year !!!

FYI...this is a nation-wide Fall sale and ends August 3.

ETA....several flights on my dates (Oct 21 & Oct 29) are still $177 RT but my specific times (7:00a and 2:30p) are now up $40 PP so I'm SO glad I booked yesterday!!

How do you get the credit? I had already booked the Boston/Orlando flights in October and today it is down significantly.

Nevermind, I figured it out and just got a $230 credit!!!

beattyfamily, Thanks for the heads up on the JB fare decrease! And I am so happy for you and your family getting a decent fare....I remember how high they were when they first came out.I had purchased ours at a great rate only to have a couple of family members have stuff come up that I had to change dates and paid a small fortune to do so. I had gotten a small credit about 10 days ago and didn't think I would get anymore but thanks to your post I checked again and now have $535 in credit with JB.

Tuesday I got a $300 credit and wednesday I got another $120 credit Another trip coming up.

When the sale first started I got a $120 credit (4 people, newark to orlando, 9/29 - 10/5), and today they went down AGAIN, just got another $80, for a total credit of $200.

Approximately specifically, this sale ends fourteen hours from between 12:30 and 1: 00 this afternoon - so about 2 AM on August 4? No, I didn't 'find' that information anywhere - the JetBlue agent who processed my credit (thanks, beattyfamily!!!!) read it on her screen in response to a different question I had.

I've only been flying with JetBlue since December, before that Delta.
I can't believe all the credits I have gotten. I can't help but wonder, how long they will continue to do this, without charging.

In 3 days it will be my first experience with JetBlue. I couldn't wait for them to start flying out of Newark Airport so I could use them. They are great when it comes to giving credits even though in my case I only saw the flight rate go up. I had booked my trip in December and worried since I wasn't travelling until August that the rate would go down but since then with fuel charges and everything else it only went up. They assured me that if my flight rate ever went lower that I would get a credit. I just looked today and my flight going out to Orlando is now $299. I paid $119. Coming home it is now $164 and I paid only $99 so I guess it was good I booked early. I'm glad to see all of you received your credits and they stick to their word.

FYI...Jetblue is down again today at least for my week in October (21 thru 29).

They're back at $187pp so hurry up and book if you haven't already!
