We have 2 roundtrip airfares booked for WDW, one in Jan/Feb and one in March. They are "Blue" reservations and said they are free to change/cancel. The first one I booked on 10/31/21 because I read on the Dis that you can cancel airfares on Jetblue just as long as you book by then. I reserved the other yesterday and it still said you can book or cancel. My question, how fare in advance do you have to cancel to get back your money/points? Thank you for any info.

Jet Blue does not give you your money back -the exception is 24 hours after booking- unless you buy a refundable ticket. Blue you will receive a Travel Bank credit good for use within the next was 2 years (has to be booked not fly) I am not sure if that changed to 1 year as other travel bank credits are. Points are put back in your account.

Pretty sure that Blue and above are fully refundable.
Its Blue Basic that has fees associated with changing/cancelling, and then any remaining funds go to your travel bank.
If you booked a Blue Basic fare between August 25th and October 31st, there would be no change/cancel fee associated with that, but funds would be travel bank.
And to answer your question, if its Blue or above, this is from the website:
"There is no fee to change or cancel your reservation prior to departure."

Blue Extra is fully refundable. Blue is not. You can cancel with no fee but you get the funds as a travel credit, not a refund.

I could be wrong, but when filtering for "refundable" fares, Blue and Blue Extra are both included.

Here is the policy for "refundable" fares , from the Jetblue website:

"For JetBlue refundable fares, cancellations are permitted any time prior to the scheduled departure for a full refund to the original form of payment.

If a refundable reservation is not changed or cancelled prior to the scheduled departure, all money associated with the reservation will be placed in a JetBlue Travel Bank credit and may be applied toward future travel.

Refundable fares may not be available on all flights."

Blue fares are refundable in the form of original payment. My sister just cancelled 5 RT tickets for April. To be sure, I would contact JetBlue and ask before you make any changes. I found they are very responsive via FB messenger.

Thank you for all the info. I am wondering how far up to your flight can you cancel and get points put back into your account? I booked both flights with points but not sure if I cancelled if I would have to cancel 5 days before or 5 hours before in order to get my points back?

Not positive on what their policy is but I can share that I cancelled a flight booked with points the day before departure and received all of my points back.
