JetBlue has dropped their prices for Easter week !

Check their website for their prices - you may get a great deal from your airport. SWF has some great JetBlue deals to MCO for Easter week - only 8 weeks away.
Our flights dropped $600 - but not worth the $400 cancellation fee and rebooking.
I will call to get a credit, but we do not plan on flying anywhere in the next year or so.
So, I am not sure what we wil do with the credit. :(

JetBlue new system now in place = some changes to your flight.

Also - If you bought your JetBlue tickets in 2009 - you may need a new Confirmation #.
We bought our JetBlue plane tickets in November 2009. I went to the website to check our flights, asked to be e-mailed an itinerary, and received a new Confirmation #, for the same flights. I called JetBlue and they said because of the new JetBLue computer system, we need to bring the new Confirmation # and new scan code with us when we go to the airports.

Have you tried calling JetBlue to see if their previous "credit" policy still applies? In the past, I've been able to get a credit if the price on my exact flights drops, without having to rebook* and without having to pay a change fee.

Hey, wait a minute! Why ISN'T it worth a net credit of $200? :teeth:

*Well, technically. JetBlue's actual procedure is that THEY cancel the existing reservation and rebook it at the lower rate, but did not charge the customer; the drawback was, once in a while the CSR would neglect to redo the seat assignment.

I too am hoping that their credit policy is still in effect after the new system is completely finished. I too went to "manage your flights" and put in my old confirmation numbers to get a copy of my new confirmation numbers. I'm holding 5 different flights, so it gets a little confusing. I was a little confused why all of my flights do not show up in my true blue account. Only my March ones is there. I guess they are still tweaking.

pooh2001,

Thanks for the heads-up on the confirmation number change. With your help we'll avoid the airport reservation desks for check-ins!

OP never said she couldn't get a credit...she said she had no way to use it, I think.

She MAY have added that after her original post - not necessarily in response to my suggestion, although the boards were wonky earlier today and, despite it appearing she edited her post before I finished mine, it's possible the times are off :teeth:

I mean, it's entirely possible she came up with that idea entirely on her own :)
