Jetblue credit/voucher question

DH and I have a credit and vouchers totaling 215. for Jetblue, due to fares being lowered and our baggage being lost (twice!) on our last WDW trip (3/02). These credits and vouchers expire early 6/03. We were told by one rep that we could purchase gift certs with the credits/vouchers that would be good for one year. I just called back to confirm, and the rep said no gift certs could be purchased with vouchers. She checked with a supervisor, who told her the same thing. She suggests I buy a cheap ticket now for Oct or Nov (that I know I won't use), and change it when the time comes. I would then have to pay one or two change fees of 25 each. Does anyone know the official policy about vouchers? I would much rather use the $ for gift certs because we already have Delta skymiles tickets for our 10/03 trip (not my card, can't change) and won't be going again till 3/04. Thanks!

We had to cancel our Jetblue flight just after 9/11, and they told us we had one year to use our credit. We were told it could not be used for gift certificates, but we could use the credit to buy tickets for others. We ended up using it just before the deadline to go to DC. Jetblue's schedule currently runs through Jan 2004 - you may want to call again and see when their March schedule will be available.
