I noticed that the Jet Blue fares were outrageous for February. I was looking for a flight to go down for a combination trip to the Daytona 500 and Disney World, but the airfare was crazy. Although, last february, the airfare was very high as Presidents Week is a big travel time in the northeast, so maybe the high fares have something to do with that.

Hopefully, they will drop, but I won't count on that.

I have noticed that JetBlue is usually higher than others, going to Orlando anyway. Feb is outrageous as is April.

Everybody says they are a great airline to fly, but I am thinking they need to take "low-cost" out of thier promotions.

The thing to remember is that "low cost" never means you the consumer get a low cost. It means that compared to the "mainline" airlines Jet Blue has "low costs" to operate.

In my experiences, Jet Blue has always been cheaper than the other airlines to fly from JFK to Orlando, that is why I always use them.

Hey Hockeygirl, Have a GREAT solo trip!! I have never flown JetBlue. Do they EVER have a SALE?? Joan

Joan - Not sure if they ever have sales, but in the last few years I have always flown Jet Blue because they always have the cheapest fare I can find. Depending on when I am traveling, I have gotten fares as low as $69 each way to fly from JFK to MCO, which is very good. Jet Blue does raise its fares around holidays, but all in all, I think they are a great airline.

Can't wait till tomorrow morning, finally going to the World!!!
