Jet Ski Eco Tour

Can someone please tell me how much the Jet Ski Eco Tour costs?

Also, am I correct that you can't book that excursion in advance?

I don't know a whole lot about the tour but here goes.

I spoke to DCL yesterday about this, the reservation clerk told me I could reserve it over the phone (I was calling for age limits, must be at least 8, costs etc).

The tour is about 1 hour and can be a single or double ($95 or $160).

It sounded like fun but our DD5 is too young (though she would LOVE it, a real speed junkie and Tower of Terror fan).

Hi! We did the jet ski tour right at the dock in Key West. Me and my son (8) were on one ski and my wife and daughter (5) were on another. We went all over the place. There were 3 Cast Members who did this tour with us so a total of 5 water craft. Both of my kids loved it. When you get off the ship, it's right there in front of you on the right side as you exit the dock. I believe the cost was like $80 per jetski plus a tip at the end. We had such a blast!

Thanks for the responses! We're doing the 4 day Wonder and the jet ski tour is out of Castaway Cay. Is this the same one you're talking about --- for $95.00 for one, $160.00 for double?

My son will be 13 July 31 -- do you know what the minimum age is to drive a jet ski?

Yes the $95/$160 is for the Castaway Cay Eco Tour. I'm sorry I don't know the minimum age to drive the jet ski.

I would call DCL to check and reserve they are open 7 days a week.

Let's us know how it was if you do the tour (we are cruising on Aug 19th on the 3 night Wonder cruise).

From Disney's Shore Excursion Facts page

"Castaway Key Personal Watercraft Eco Tour (to ride you must be 8 yrs old. To drive you must be 18: or, if you are 16 or 17 yrs old and wish to drive, you must obtain authorization from a parent or guardian)"

Cost is $160 for a double rider and $95 for a single rider.

It lasts 1 hour and includes a 10 - 15 minute safety breifing.

That information is directly from Disney.

We did the Jet Ski Eco Tour from Castaway Cay in May. It was a blast! Look for all of the details in my trip report under the Cruise Line trip reports section titled "Our Wonder-full cruise 5/23/04".

At the time, they didn't allow you to book this in advance but I understand that you can now.
