Jet Blue Window Question

Dh insists on a window seat and stares out that window the entire flight. We usually fly SW, so it’s not a problem picking a row with the window correctly lined up to the seat. Since Jet Blue had better prices, we switched and now must pick our seats. Does anyone know if there are rows we should avoid, in other words, rows where the window is not lined up correctly?
Thanks

JetBlue has two different types of planes. You need to know which one you'll be on. If you don't know, do a search on kayak.com. When you find your flights, click on details and it will tell you the type of plane.

After you know the type of plane, go to seatguru.com to see a diagram of the plane. They will tell you good seats and bad seats. However, they focus on things like legroom -- I'm not sure if they will answer your question about looking out the window.

Sorry about the difficulty reading my post. It was a cut & paste from Word.

Flight is an Airbus320. Seatguru had no information on the window placement. Thanks for the guidance though.
Maybe someone else who loves watching for those pesky gremlins:eek: out the window will chime in. :rotfl:

Thanks

If seatguru has no information about windows, that should mean there are no 'bad' window seats - that site warns about things like off-kilter window placement (it's really helpful).

I fly Jetblue frequently and have never not been able to see out the window on either of their planes. Just make sure you don't select seats over the wings.

What is DH looking for anyway, I hope for his sake it's not cloudy the entire flight.

Told ya, he's watching for those pesky gremlins. ;)
Neither of us really likes to fly. He feels better staring out the window, I sit in an aisle seat and have a drink or two. It's heaven when no one sits between us, but that doesn't happen very often anymore.

kaytieeldr - that makes sense about the info not being on seatguru. I should have thought it out better.

Thanks everyone, I appreciate the info.

As another poster already stated, seatguru will mention when a window is missing or if there is an odd window placement. So no mention means the windows are probably all there and properly aligned.

One other thing - I guarantee there is a window lined up with the last row on JetBlue's Airbus 320 :teeth:. Drawbacks are it's right in front of the bathroom, the seats don't recline, and except on sold out flights only half those seats are used for passengers - but it's my favorite row on redeye flights ;)

I love to fly, but I have to have a window and I tend to look out of it for most of the flight as well. There's something about being able to see the ground & where I'm going is a comfort to me. When we flew to Europe, I left my window closed the entire time we were over the Atlantic. Flying over water & in clouds freaks me out, again, because I can't see the ground. It's a fear and fears are not rational.

We've flown JetBlue twice in the past couple of weeks and it was too bright to leave the window shade up. The sun was blinding to say the least. Also, if you have any intention of watching TV, the light from the window will likely be too bright for the TV.
