When buying jet blue tickets online at what point do you get to pick your seats? I want to know we can sit together before I buy. Please Help. Thanks all.
I just bought 2 sets of tickets on Friday and I want to say it was after the flights was paid for and then the screen came up for the seats.
That was the great thing about Song-Delta (can't speak for other airlines) you could see what seats were available before you purchased.
Yes, AllyBri is correct. On JetBlue you cannot pick your seats until after you have paid for your flight. I didn't think ahead before paying (first time flying) and when I went to pick my seats, there were no 2 seats together anywhere on the plane for myself and DD. After a phone call and help from a friend at the airport , things worked out for us, but I was nervous until we checked in that we wouldn't be together. You can call JetBlue and a rep can check the flight for you and let you know the availability of seats. Then if the discount is worth it to book online, jump right on your computer and book...or be in the booking section of their site when you call, and if all is good, proceed.
Good Luck
When we needed four seats I phoned Jetblue before booking and the Jetblue Customer Service person gladly told me where the available seats were ahead of time. I was looking at the Jetblue website while talking to her. She was a great help.
I fly Jetblue and they are a great airline to fly. I have never had a problem and if you do run into a problem they will fix it. The flight is great for kids as there are TV's and they give you the headphones and if you need additional snacks or drinks they will usually get your kids to work for it but playing trivia. TIP: Make up a small bag of dollar store games for each of your kids. When you sit down for the flight, give the bags to the kids and they will usually be amused for the flight. This even worked on my one and a half year old.
