Jet Blue Rebates?

I thought I read somewhere recently that Jet Blue will give you a rebate if your flight price decreases before departure day. In other words, if you booked at one price and it came down before the flight left, they'd provide a rebate that could be used on a future flight.

Yes they do give you a credit to use within 1 year. You must call them to get it.

I've had my rates go down and called Jetblue to tell them and we received a credit. In 2008 the price went down $14.00 and I used it for our 2009 trip coming up, then that price dropped and we received $80.00. We were going on a short trip to NYC and with that credit, 3 of us flew to NYC for $248.00 round trip. I keep checking almost weekly. Good luck

register on yapta and it will track your flight price and issue an alert if the price drops. it will even give you the phone number to call. on our first trip to disney in december we had $650 credit (6 of us travelling) that i used in may for a trip to daytona and that flight dropped in price also so i have a $200 credit i'm hoping to use on a weekend getaway to the big apple. so for the price i paid in december i will actually get 3 vacations! one thing i noticed though if you use yapta if you track a roundtrip ticket it will add the inbound and outbound flight for a total cost. it's better to track them separately. sometimes the inbound flight will go up and outbound will go down. you can claim a credit for one segment only.
