Jet Blue luggage weight limits - BEWARE!

At Burlington VT airport today we were told by staff that Jet Blue is lowering their luggage weight limit from 70 lbs to 50 lbs very soon. BEWARE!

Interesting. That should bring them in line with the rest of the industry.

I'll pass that on to a friend who plans on flying them for a cruise in a couple months, mostly because she likes to overpack and likes having the extra weight limit.

Yes, 50 pounds is the US domestic standard.

Personally, I can't see lugging around a 70 pound suitcase anyway.
