does anyone have "the scoop" on when the jet blue fares will come out for November? I am looking to book for Jersey Week and United/Continental is outrageous. If I want to drive to LAGuardia instead of Newark :confused3(20 more minutes), I can get a decent rate with Delta. Should I book now or wait for Jet Blue and hope they are more reasonable?

I think its only been about a month that they allowed you to book through October 23 (I think), so I think it may be later than sooner.

Wish I could be more helpful :)

I'd guess another month or two. The current schedule was extended from mid-August to mid-October the week of February 20th. I think they generally do updates every 2-3 months.

I usually book my Dec trips in April/May. It has been in that area most years. I would expect to start looking for my Dec trip in a few weeks or so.
But, from what I'm seeing, it's not going to be cheap.

I am in the same boat, I've been watching United since the dates for Jersey Week opened up and the prices have been consistently $800+ r/t out of EWR. Based on the past JetBlue release schedule, they seem to open up Jersey Week with the mid to late April schedule release. However, if you search this board in previous years, people have complained that JetBlue Jersey Week prices at schedule release have been very high. Its a risky proposition to try and wait them out.

I will be watching, but I'm now looking at other options.

Good luck.

I just got an email this afternoon from Jet Blue, it said:

Our Schedule Will Be Extended at Noon Sunday, March 25th at 12 noon, you can book travel through Sunday, January 6, 2013.

Hooray!!!!!!

I added the hooray ;)

Appears the JB prices are still high at schedule launch for Jersey week from EWR to MCO. These flights are Sat Nov 3 to Sat Nov 10 per ticket and total for 4 tickets. More then half off from United with similar times.

Wow - Jet Blue just raised all prices from my previous post to $545 - EACH WAY! That's right - $1,068 per ticket or 4,358.40 (with tax) for a family of 4.

Flying to Orlando out of Newark during Jersey Week looks like a no-go this year.

Those are first-class fares - I'm wondering who is going to actually purchase at that price. If your going to ask 1K, why not just try for 2K?
