heh.. so you're making weather JB's concern? fact is, they weren't the first to have the problem and they definitely weren't the last.
and yes, i'm looking at AQR statistics. in 2005, JB had an overall on time %age of 71%. and out of the other rated airlines, the leader was NWA with a whopping 82%.
and despite this, when you include all the other factors such as baggage handling, involuntary boarding, etc., JB still gets rated #1 overall - EVERY year it's been included in the report.
so you have bad luck. sorry to hear it. obviously most people in this thread and other JB threads don't share your views, so I can appreciate it for its diversity.
i will continue flying JB exclusively.
Northwest, incidentally, in 1999 kept passengers in the plane on the tarmac for over 8 hours in detroit due to weather.
and in December, an American Airlines flight was diverted due to weather and turned a 3 hour flight into a 15 hour flight as it sat on the tarmac for over 8 hours in austin.

and to date, Jet Blue is the ONLY airline I know of to self-inflict a passengers bill of rights that pays its passengers based on delays. every one that had issues on those flights, due to WEATHER, were not only fully compensated, but received vouchers for future flights.
even that proposed HR 1303 doesn't offer any real accountability as far as i can tell.
