We have about $250 in Jet Blue credits which will expire in June if I don't book a flight before then. But right now, life is such that I don't think we will be able to commit by that point to any trip. I was thinking maybe that just before they expire, I could book one seat on a flight that would use the whole $250. Then could I cancel it for the $40 fee and still have $210 in credits good for another year? I would hate to lose all the credits that we have. Or is there any other option?

That would be ashame to lose all that. I would do it.

I love when I have credits on JB.

I believe this will work. I'd book a flight that is the furthest out, and cancel it the day before the flight. This will extend your credits by 18 months.

Someone was just saying recently that the JB agent actually suggested this to them.
